  1. When I was 11 years old I stopped eating dead animals. My family was, of course, clueless. Unfortunately, so was our family doctor. I was given the exact opposite of accurate information and got terrible constipation (and hemorrhoids). My mom found a woman who knew stuff and we got accurate information about fiber. Thank goodness for her. I can honestly say that I haven’t been constipated since the 1960s. Not one time. One of the many benefits of being a vegetarian.
