  5. I was raised Lutheran and I was an annoyingly Evangelical child until I turned 11 and was sent to Catechism. I was SO happy to get all my questions answered and become a true part of the Church. Unfortunately, I took it seriously and demanded that my questions be answered. Then I found out that there are no answers because it's ALL FAKE. They blamed me for being immature and said I should return when I was ready to accept faith without any answers. That was 53 years ago and I still haven't returned. Even when I was in the Army and people were trying to kill me I Never thought about any gods. I was very much an Atheist in a foxhole. There were lots of us. Fear didn't make me believe in magic, but the suffering I witnessed made me sure that there are no gods. Religion is CONTROL.

  16. A High School friend, who was a student of Lee, invited me to meet the Sifu. Master Lee invited me to show him my nunchaku technique. He was a very nice man and Linda was quite sweet. I never saw him again. It was hard to believe when he died.

  18. I know two artists. One had a decent career as an art teacher but he was always unhappy because his artwork didn't sell. The other earned an advanced art degree and twenty years later paints kitchen cabinets. He's quite good and makes a surprising living.
