I was raised Lutheran and I was an annoyingly Evangelical child until I turned 11 and was sent to Catechism. I was SO happy to get all my questions answered and become a true part of the Church. Unfortunately, I took it seriously and demanded that my questions be answered. Then I found out that there are no answers because it's ALL FAKE. They blamed me for being immature and said I should return when I was ready to accept faith without any answers. That was 53 years ago and I still haven't returned. Even when I was in the Army and people were trying to kill me I Never thought about any gods. I was very much an Atheist in a foxhole. There were lots of us. Fear didn't make me believe in magic, but the suffering I witnessed made me sure that there are no gods. Religion is CONTROL.
