  17. I have used and enjoyed LSD, Psilocybin, DMT and Salvia Divanorum hundreds of times and this presentation makes sense. The loss of "self". The little voice definitely shuts off. One of the many fun aspects of a deep trip is coming down, the reintegration of memories and personality, an "oh yeah" sensation. But that doesn't explain something like synesthesia, or does it. Is smelling colors a loss of executive functioning?

  57. I'm the kind of atheist who would love to have a god to believe in. If Someone can provide me with actual evidence. There just isn't any reason to believe in gods, as far as I can tell. So let's say there is a creative being... seems to me that they made an effort to not be visible. It would be rude for me to ignore that. And the idea that a GOD wants his creation to worship him...? Wouldn't that be like me wanting my paintings to worship me? What a tiny god; "I can make insects out of mud and make them bow down before me".

  58. When I was a child I figured out how to take those tests they used in Los Angeles, in the 1960s, at the end of each school year; read the answers first. Sometimes you can eliminate one answer just because it doesn’t match the others. Then read the question with the answers in your mind and it’s usually easy to pick the correct one. I repeatedly scored between 119 and 129 on “IQ tests”. I’m not that smart but these things use the same multiple choice tests. I just have a talent for taking these tests. I consider real IQ to be creativity, which none of the tests I’ve taken (including Mensa) tested for.

  62. Driving through the aftermath of the Watts Riots in the front of the bus, with the white people, I suddenly noticed… my mother seemed very sad as she looked out the window. I asked her why people are different colors. She said she didn’t know but besides color we are all the same. She believed that. I got to go to college and get a science degree so I know why people are different colors and I know that my mother was right about us all being the same in our mental abilities and that is all that matters. As for being “replaced” by people who have darker skin than I have… wow, scary. Oh yeah, they are still going to be Americans so why should I care? And, my wife is from Thailand. So there’s that.
