  1. Forty years ago we knew a man who immigrated from China. He told us that shortly after he arrived in America he was approached by a man who claimed to be from the Chinese government who wanted to remind him that he would always be Chinese, that he had relatives in China and to tell him that representatives of the Chinese government would be speaking with him again in the future. As far as I know, no one ever approached him again claiming to be from the Chinese government.
