New York is so good at them, that it makes more money doing those things than all of Russia does doing everything that Russia does. Services are part of the economy as well and they are exceptionally important parts of the economy. A doctor doing a lifesaving operation on you is a service. "If you disconnect New York from electricity?" What kind of a nonsensical question is this? If we disconnected Russian electricity, half the Russian economy would collapse as well. Your question about electricity is irrational. It seems you have studied economics from the Soviet school of economics. As we know, the result of Soviet economics was total collapse. Russia is not fighting against NATO. Lol, if Russia were fighting NATO, the war would be in Moscow, not in Ukraine. We should not seek to befriend such an irrational actor who consistently elects a brutal and revanchist dictator that regularly attacks her neighbors. Rather we should keep her at a distance and punish Russia whenever it starts thinking about restoring its failure of an empire.

  36. Yes, but we should remember the Molotov Ribbentrop pact in which the Nazis and Soviets collaborated and planned to invade Poland together. After which the Germans double crossed the Soviets and invaded them instead. Defeating the Nazis during WW2 was not sufficient. We should have defeated the Soviets after the Nazis fell. Both were conspirators that conspired with each other to trigger WW2.
