  6.  @chihchang1139  Vietnam is a large country. Taiwan is a tiny Island. Taiwan is going to be very difficult, almost impossible, to defend. Taiwan won't be able to receive any outside supplies during any conflict and it will not be able to stockpile weapons for longer than a few months of war.

One guy starts a company importing furniture from China and cuts furniture prices by 50% leaves all the corporate bosses in Chicago and New York scrambling to try and protect their market share. They have no option but to stay competitive. The real problem is not corporate bosses. It's consumers who buy made in china products because its cheap.
