  1. Mearsheimer blames the West for fuelling the war and destroying Ukraine. He didn't give any agency to the Ukrainian people who are the ones requesting the weapons & very strongly want to fight for their land against an imperial Russia.

  4. Mearsheimer didn't really answer her question though. She said Mexico and Canada have no reason to be seeking foreign military alliances. Russia is giving Ukraine, Georgia, Finland, the Baltics, Moldova every reason to want to be a member of NATO.

  5.  @andrewbaldwin4454  You forget, Russia illegally occupies Transnistria to this day. They funded rebel movements in Abkhazia and Ossetia before invading it themselves. They illegally annexed Crimea And now attacked Ukraine. Eastern Europeans are smart. They are correct in their assessment that Russia is imperialist and poses an existential threat towards them.
