  1. Sorry. Freedom of Speech is a constitutional right. But that right does not exist on private propert, or private institutions of learning. You may be trespassed for disruptive behavior which affects other students ability to learn and seek education. The university is an institution of learning, not a platform for you to force your political agendas on others at the expense of their studying.

  2. @rickpearlstein6421  Public school does not mean access is unlimited to the public. A military base is also public property. It doesn't mean anyone has a right to access a US military installation. On the basis of trespass law, these institutions are considered private property. It is considered private property and trespassers may be evicted. These students have been trespassed from UT due to setting up an illegal and unsanitary encampment on the institution whilst disrupting resumption of regular classes.

Thankfully, what is worthy or not worthy is not for you to decide. I reject the characterization that police were "violent". I furthermore reject any assertion that police have no right to disperse illegal encampments using force. The matter is simple really. When you are given mutliple deadlines and instructions to peaceably remove your illegal structures, belligerently ignoring those instructions results in the use of force. Basic cause and effect principles which leftists and pro-radical Islam groups have severe difficulty comprehending. The 95% of student body that are not participating in your political protests want to get back to in class learning. Stop impeding on their rights to fulfill your political activism, which we have very little interest in.
