@YanatoCherizhosa I did not say it was democratic. It is human nature to strike back at those who attack you. Have a good read of human history. We are a violent species. If you punch your neighbour in the face, the reasonable expectation is that your neighbour will return the favour. Serbs, along with the Russian cousins, seem to have this idea that they can attack their neighbours without consequence. When that is shown to be inaccurate, they squeal like stuck pigs. My advice was simple: stop attacking your neighbours. You will discover that living in peace becomes possible.

@djape1977 Romanians are not brothers of Serbs. They are NATO members and will resist Russian invasion. You Serbs are stirring up trouble again but just understand that you are on your own and practically surrounded by NATO members. If you have any brains you will shut up and stop antagonizing your neighbours.

@kasper7203 Will the same UN process happen in Chechnya and all the other Republics that are part of the Russian Federation or it is just ethnic Russian majority regions that get this luxury?

@kasper7203 Unfortunately it would not be up to you. Russia wants Russians to have special rights that it will not give to Chechens or other racial and ethnic groups. So it just comes down to raw power and Russia is about to discover it is far less powerful than it believed thanks to two decades of Putin and his cronies plundering the nation.

@Ibrahim Özgür Sucu Absolute drivel. The matter of Ukrainian territory was settled with the Budapest Memorandum and the referendum that was held at that time. All parts of Ukraine, including Crimea elected to remain parts of Ukraine by an overwhelming percentage. Also , the NATO-RUSSIA Foundation Act makes it clear that the parties do not even consider each other adversaries. There is no objection to Ukraine or any other country choosing to join NATO. So this whole NATO story is a pretext. It's a lie. If Russia wants to start re-drawing borders based on the past they can lead the way by giving Manchuria back to the Chinese, giving the Kuril Islands back to Japan and they can also give up Kaliningrad. But I bet they would threaten to use nukes rather than return to those past borders. Russians have a very selective recollection of history. Russia can also lead the way by holding referenda in Chechnya, Dagestan and other Republics to see if those people want to secede from Russia. I'll bet they would never allow that to happen. Russians are massive hypocrites. They have to get out of Ukraine, all of it. Listen to your President, Erdogan. He made perfect sense describing what should happen if Russia wants peace.
