@lissainlenoir Modern day Japan is very different to what Japan was in the 1940's. Your dad was fortunate. Ask the Chinese or anyone else who was conquered by the Japanese about how brutal they were. Read about Unit 731 in China before you tell us about how delightful the Japanese were.
