There is no way Russia can defeat and hold on to Ukraine. They are fighting for their lives and their freedom. When China invades India next time, you roll over and give them your country. Ukraine will prevail.

@SatumangoTheGreat Putin has already demonstrated that he is acting rationally. He has blinked twice. He says that the sanctions are an act of war. But what did he do about it? Nothing. He did not start firing nukes. Because he knows what the consequences are The same can be argued regarding all the weapons being given to Ukraine. They amount to an act of war in his mind. But what did he do? Nothing. Because he knows the consequences. If the west stands down because of threats by Putin to use nukes, they may as well hand over Moldova, the Baltic states, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Georgia right now. Heck, they may as well all surrender. At what stage will the west stands up to the threat? Also, both China and India would tell Putin that they can't support him if he uses nukes, because the risk of escalation is too great. They could get destroyed without even being involved. Putin can't use nukes. He knows what is coming his way if he does.

@SatumangoTheGreat He has kids and grand kids and so do all the military people around him who would be asked to carry out those orders. I can see someone putting a bullet in his head before killing themselves and their family.
