Have a close look at Mariupol and Severodonetsk and compare them with any cities in the West of Ukraine. Putin has delusions of grandeur much like Hitler had. But his forces are third rate. All that will result from it is the destruction of the Russian Federation. Cold war 2 is here and Russia is far weaker than the USSR and the West is far stronger. A nation with a $1.5 trillion economy cannot compete with the combined power of nations with close to $50 trillion economies. There is only one possible winner in the long run. Russian collapse is inevitable, as night follows day. I know I will watch it with joy.

  2.  @danielscalera6057  The West has plenty of all of those things. That's in part what makes the West so wealthy. You live under an illusion because you have never lived in the West. If it's in such bad shape, then why is it that the children of Russian leaders and the oligarchs almost all got their education in the West and live there? Why are all those mansions and yachts in France, UK, USA etc? Even the Russian leadership loves the West more than Russia. Did you see that hissy fit Medvedev threw when his son was thrown out of the US? Poor kid, he has to go and live in miserable Russia. And not just Russians, but all the nationalities saying they support Russia, like Chinese, Indians, Middle Easterners, Africans. Why are they all desperately trying to get visas to the West? Why no one wants to go to beloved Russia? You are all a bunch of massive hypocrites. You hate the West, but you want to live there. The reason you hate it so much is because when you see the success and wealth of the West it reminds you of your own lack of success, your inferiority in so many ways: economic, cultural, political, social and technological. If it wasn't for the West, you wouldn't even be able to type your reply. You would have no computer, no smart phone, no internet. You'd be Living in the 19th century.
