@yurimuratov957 Yes. Do exactly what Reagan did to destroy the USSR. Ramp up military spending, isolate Russia and destroy their economy. Then watch them collapse. The USSR was far larger and stronger than present day Russia. So the outcome is inevitable but it may take a few years.

@yurimuratov957 Giving Ukraine whatever it needs to defend itself against Russian aggression is the right thing to do. It's also in the West's best interests to do so. No matter how much you try to defend Russia or deflect, the reality is that Russia cannot win the war because NATO and allies are prepared to give Ukraine the weapons they need to stop Russia. Personally, I would like to see Ukraine given about 50 nukes. Just enough to completely destroy Russia in the event that Ukraine faced an existential threat to it's existence. The war would end in a matter of days with Putin shitting his pants.

@yurimuratov957 You don't know? Really? NATO will defend itself and destroy Russia by conventional warfare. Russia will be defeated within weeks. It's leaders will also know that nukes can't be used if they want Russia to continue to exist.

@yurimuratov957 That is dishonesty at it's worst. Both of those countries were run by dictators. In Hussein's case he had already killed a million people in the war against Iran and used chemical weapons against the Kurds. Gaddafi was a terrorist who oppressed his own people. In the end they showed him how much they liked him. And of course prior to the events in both those countries there were numerous UN resolutions. In the case of Iraq there were 11 UN Security Council resolutions prior to the invasion. All were supported by both China and Russia. So where are the UN resolutions condemning Ukraine? You pro Russians keep trying to equate Russia's genocidal attack, without any UN resolutions, on a peaceful, democratic country with US and NATO actions against murderous dictator's. Nothing could be more dishonest. And as Russia broke their undertakings in the Budapest Memorandum, why should Ukraine not get nuclear weapons as a deterrent? That is what they gave up as part of the deal.

@yurimuratov957 There were 11 UN Security Council resolutions against Iraq. All supported Russia and China. The legality of the invasion can be debated. But as the UN authorised all those resolutions and the Iraqi government failed to comply at least the US can make an argument that their actions were justifiable. Kofi Annan does not determine what is lawful or not. If you believe invading Iraq was unlawful, then you must also agree that Russia's invasion is an egregious breach of international law. Russia has not even bothered to ask the UN to help resolve their issue with Ukraine. They just brazenly broke international law and all their previous agreements like the Budapest Memorandum. And let's not forget their previous invasions of Georgia and Moldova. I also see many Russians following their government's lead by claiming that Ukrainians are not a real people and that Ukraine and it's people should not exist. So let's call that for what it is. Russia is waging genocide against the Ukrainian people. And here you are defending that. Trying hard to deflect and use false equivalence to justify that genocide. Read your comments and try to grasp the depth of your hypocrisy.
