@timstapleman You are ill-informed. You need to read the NATO-RUSSIA founding act 1997. In that document it states that NATO and Russia do not regard each other as enemies. It makes clear that every nation has the right to enter into any security arrangements it wishes. That includes former USSR countries joining NATO. Russia cannot flout international agreements it has entered into such as this and the Budapest Memorandum as well. Russia is the sole cause of this war. Wake up and listen to what they are saying: they want control over all of the former states of the USSR and the Russian Empire. They are saying it repeatedly. This war is driven by Russian imperialism.

 @rphb5870 The Russian Federation will not even exist by then. Muscovy will be a small and insignificant nation under that will be under Ukrainian influence.
