  1. The US has an excellent railroading tradition. Resurrect it. Regional High Speed Rail is the ideal eco and convenience alternative to short haul flights - which are a climate disaster. High Speed rail provides thousands and thousands of high paying constructuon jobs and thousands of jobs to run and maintain the system - all jobs lock down right here in the Good Old US of A. The beauty of a built out system of regional High Speed Rail is - all regoins benefit. It is a climate win. And jobs win and a commerce win and a US win. Contrary to our railroading history - The USA is now a high speed rail laggard. Time to fix that.
