  1. day 684 of putin's 3 days war - everyone in russia knows it was a stupid idea. Like dumber than dog dirt. But - they expect Ukraine will fix its own problem and not expect the russia people to solve it for them. Because that is not how russia is wired.

  2. russians want to win the war - not lose the war. Does Ukraine want to win the war? is Ukraine afraid to win the war. Is Ukraine afraid to do what is necessary to win the war. Is it conceivable to a Ukrainian who lived during the Soviet Occupation of Ukraine - that Ukraine can win the war? or is putin doing a gaslight on Ukraine to convince Ukraine it cannot win - inspire of all of the overwhelming evidence that Ukraine is the dominant force in the war. Once Ukraine decides it can win- Ukraine will do the necessary to prevail. Walking a low cost low risk strategy to prosecute the war - will only take you so far in life. Although I must say in recent months - Ukraine is getting far more efficient at actions that russia has no defense for - geurrilla ops and insurrection and resistance are all improving. And that is a path to victory - that russia has no answer for and cannot defend against. Ukraine must raise the cost to russia so that Russia will never again consider to invade Ukraine. It is done through insurrection and resistance.
