Another way to ask the question is to ask - should Europe allow Ukraine to fall back behind the Iron Curtain. If you think that is a good idea - like maybe putin thinks that is a good idea, then yeah sure, stop bIn other words - the Modern Iron Curtain in Europe - Is at the Russia border. East of the Russia border will remain 3rd world - akin to North Korea. West of the Russia Border, the Free Side of the Line - will prosper with civil liberty personal freedom and the rule of law in democratic societies. The other way to view the problem is - Russia is free to occupy Ukraine - as long as they have the stamina ,the will, the fortitude and manhood to do so. Personally I think Russia has no practical chance to sustain the occupation. Inherently corrupt and deprived. It is not possible. Russia have no chance to sustain the effort in the face of determined focused sustained opposition.
