It boils down to who runs Europe. the EU and NATO from Brussels or putin from moscow? it is that simple. No more complicated than that. Only one entity decides. NATO decides. NATO decides through action or inaction.

@abrakadavra3193 And putin could have chosen Democracy for Russia in social and economic partnership with Europe. But he didn't. It is not the putin hates Europe. He doesn't. russia has $1 trillion ins assets in Europe. Putin wants to own Europe and run Europe. putin wondered where the limits are - he found them.

@nilslarson7532 No it is exactly that simple. Stated another way. Are the EU and NATO willing to cede power to putin through the use of force nuclear coercion or any other reason. There is no value to Europe rot cede power to putin for any reason. Why? The nuclear threat is not going away. putin will continue to use it until putin is dead.
