Well the S and even more so the RS will have extensive alterations to the exterior - So yes the exhausts will have their place, but properly the spoiler in which they are integrated will be different all together, so I do not buy your argument. It is weird that in a car this modern, expensive and in most ways very completed, fake chrome exhaust are placed while one can spot the real exhausts pipe right underneath it - Honestly that is not really cool, in the same way it is not really cool with speaker enhanced engine noise - All BMW fans could not do anything else than swallow that fact when introduce by BMW. And so they all have have their flaws and AUDI sits within the VAG group, which at least to some level would indicate that Form is supposed to follow Function.

Well I´m not really an AUDI fan, but I think they hit it pretty spot on with this A6 - properly the best size for the AUDI DNA imo. The exterior is far more interesting, dynamic and light than it has been in a long time and the proportions sits way better than on the A8, which is a marvel inside, but quite an uninspired car from the outside. I still have no clue what so ever, why they keep making these fake exhausts decorations - One should expect that Form language within the VAG group would follow function or not?. In any case I am sure that no AUDI fans will be pushed away with this version and they might even take a bit form the competition. The interior looks really great, but frankly some controls a better and safer as buttons - but yea well its not only AUDI – more or less the lot that is heading that way - Screens are far more flexible for updates, adding functions etc. and real buttons are properly more expensive both to produce and to install - every button needs a connection and screen essentially only needs one power plug and one input from a hub.
