Must disagree to that statement – M2c, M5c are in my opinion far better BMW propositions – They drive better with more engagement and the M5 is certainly far more practical than the 8 series while still delivering on the performance. Also, the i8 is a more interesting car to look at. Fake wents and rather impractical areas such as the back seats thus the quite high weight all make this 8 Series a bit compromised. And even being a BMW fan, I can certainly not blame anybody for choosing the Bentley GT or the S Class coupes over this 8 series. The Bentley has about the best interior one can wish for in a luxury Coupe and it looks and drives very well. The S-Class might not be as sporty but it has plenty of performance and a posher interior to match. And lets for a moment just also recall the complete weirdness of the Apple car play Android connectivity – what the hell were they thinking about in the supposed to be top spec top of the line tech latest BMW - Simply doe not make any sense. Naa I have seen far better solved BMW models over the years – I´ll figure that the next revision will be much better.
