It is about the first time ever for me that I think another SUV beats a Range Rover for looks in this segment – BMW and AUDI (MB not so much) have in my opinion struggled over the last 10-15 years getting their DNA across to the SUV platform (with some exceptions like the old Q7, Q5, and X5) – but it is not really the case anymore. Still, the RR Velar is looking very good, but the RR Sport somehow starts to look just a little bit dated. In any case nearly nobody needs these big SUV´s – it is a waste of materials and putting more weight on the roads while using more fuel – people should get estate cars instead unless they need 7 seats for a big family or live in conditions where the SUV becomes a must – of which there is not many places int he western hemisphere. Even in the north a 4x4 (AWD) estate car will be more than sufficient for a hard winter.
