Renault is in the mid/lower section for Brand appeal - though their latest hot hatches drive so well that enthusiasts would take any Brand if the car is good. I seen some Renault Megane (RS) and other sport versions on the German roads occasionally - more than Ford Hot Hatches and ex. VW Polo GTI - but I do not know the sale numbers, it´s just a personal impression. Both Renault, Peugeot and Citroen are sold in large numbers to the general public - sitting in the absolute average with VW on top.

Hmm yea well I just took another look at high res images of the car - And yes they are quite big the headlamps, but apart from that I must disagree with you on the looks. I find it overall really well proportioned and I love the wheel arch shoulders and and the lower bended center crease line. Perhaps the rear is the most bland, but I actually like the front. Anyways what beauty is is always to the one that sees ;).

Honestly I think this Clio will sell quite well, but it might not sell as well to the enthusiasts group as earlier versions. Overall it will have a broader appeal to small families where dad or mom also want some sport for a fair price. It´s a more rounded product with a broader appeal - for the enthusiast it´s a bit of a set back. C. Harris mentioned that it could easily be tuned to about 250 Hp - if that is true, then some Enthusiast will definitely consider it.

Okay Review - and much better than the last one he did. I´ll suggest adding at little bit of fun into the review and getting a bit more on road footage with more aggressive driving for this kind of car. I like this car a lot - I looks very good IMO, but for fun i would properly miss that manual. So if you had to choose between a VW Polo GTI and this what would you choose ?.

Well I did too, but Mr. Harris is a car review Icon with so much experience, and this guy is pretty new on the scene. Really bashed his first review but, I think he already improved a lot - and it is always nice to hear more opinions on a car like this.

Someone mentioned that the paddles are actually the same as on a Nissan GT-R. And the paddle position discussion I think will continue for long time - a lot prefer the static position like you described, but there are also other that like the other one. But regardless he did not need to bring up that subject as a negative, a 458 also have static position paddles - and that must count for something.
