  1. The Panamera was never a real beauty, that rear glass prevent it from looking real good. This new Mercedes on the other hand looks like one would expect a big Mercedes Coupe to look - I find really well proportioned and I´m not a Mercedes fan, but they got this one right. If Porsche really would like a bite of that cake they should make a 2 door version of the Panamera, like a new 928 - many renders of such a thing is already to be found on the net. Somehow this AMG Coupe would be better up against a Bentley GT - It seams like a more appropriate rival; You want a big fast and super luxurious Coupe a Bentley GT will certainly be on the list a long side with this new AMG S-Class Coupe. But I can´t remember the price tag on a Bentley GT?. Ups I just read below that it was already put up against a Bentley and the MAG won - I wonder though what other rivals there really is to this S-Class coupé right now I cant really think of any. The Rolls would be to far apart in price, any Aston within pricerange ? - then there is the Audi RS5, the M6 Coupe but don´t they belong in segment below ?.

  2. Yes I would agree to that - it´s a more true rival for luxury, power and being a Coupe.
