Sorry! do not agree, it looks at least as good as it rivals, meaning it is well resolved overall and it has a very decent stance for such a large car - Rest is Brand Fan club, meaning personal identification with the cars main DNA + its heritage. (like I am a BMW fan)... And lets not forget it looks like a Volvo - The concepts Volvo did over the last years has spawned some complete temporary and well proportioned cars including this Estate - Volvo classic rigidness plus modern dynamics well executed.

Good Review - This estate looks great inside and outside Volvo have hit that spot on - but weird with the boot size. A strong hybrid also sounds like a good solution for a stronger powerplant option. Well done Volvo.

Ixissimus I do understand your great principle for choosing cars. But perhaps in the matter of Aesthetics it is rather blatantly stated "that it is ugly on the outside tho". If you would suggest or hint what you do not like about it, then there would perhaps be substance for an inspired debate. As such you did not comment on what you actually like about it, if anything? - either way not much room to manoeuvre. - So what would you choose instead of it?

Ixissimus Well I would not list my favorite cars for my own life currently, which would include a few of those you listed. I do not have the need of this segment space offering. For the question I was more thinking on direct competitors in this class. Mercedes E-class Estate BMW 5 Series Touring AUDI A5 Estate VW Passat Estate. Also in the USA: VW Jetta SportWagen. VW Golf SportWagen. Subaru Outback. From the Above I would not know exactly, I am a BMW fan but not of all their cars and a well engined A5 or E-class are certainly attractive offerings if one needs the space and the comfort. - Overall I think Volvo is doing an immense comeback and revitalized their DNA. Their engines appear too small for the US market so a T8 Hybrid would most likely fix that. Cheers
