The turning radius is extremely important in cars like this – That is due to the lack of storage space – So if one has gone on the road and forgotten something then the Turning Radius comes into play. Though it is also known that racedrivers and wana-be racedrivers finds other methods to turn the car around quickly. That was once done with the handbrake but new supercars has so much punch that they can do it without it, but it needs a good right driver. Turning radius is known from when people sleep, then most people turn at some point regardless of they dream they drive a car with a limited turning radius or not. Secondary but very important.... The time it takes to turn this car around using a standard driving procedure gives the driver all the good arguments for making up for time lost when driving forward. Some Ford GT owners have already been known to file complaints to Ford about speeding tickets due to the time los of having to turn the car around – It remains a mystery to this date but Ford has stated that there is no turn around going to happen with this car.

  4. Great! – I love thet Ford GT because it is no compromise, purpose designed and build and does not try to please anyone but the person behind the steering wheel. And yes I know the comments; V8, and why not bring in V10 and V12 – But this is not what it is about – This US efficiency and I think it is worth celebrating, the car has proven its capabilities already – The only thing is the price tag and the very limited availability, to which I can understand the GT40 long terms fans reactions. One can though hope that Ford can make a more "buyers" Friendly car derived from this – but that might prove to be a difficult balance sheet calculation. – Can anyone tell about how many for GT´s was sold in the US from the previous Gerneration?
