  1. Let’s not forget that Ukraine is a natural resource jewel in Europe, and the East is highly essential to Russian ship routes as the northern harbors usually freeze in the winter half. Not only is Ukraine a natural resource jewel but even a large number of micro chips are being produced there, and a lot food supplies. Regardless of Putins personal and domestic issues, no country leader would willingly let a country like Ukraine go without at least trying to keep it. I don’t support this war and I don’t support Putin, but there is a lot at stake with Ukraine. Natural resources, are many besides natural gas and oil, also includes iron, uranium and several other exotic metals, some of which are the largest or 2nd largest deposits in Europe - also it contains the most fertile soil in Europe.
