Somehow I do not think it ever really was minus a few exception– Started with immigration turning into invasive territory claims and genocide, followed by import of slaves and slavery – Then a civil war. The land of the Free turning into the land of War. Despite the many achievements, a long trail of injustice, corruption, bloodshed, misinformation, fear building, black budgets and the slow intoxication of the population has been engulfing the USA like a big black snake, waiting for the moment to squeeze the last bit of life out it, including the Justice.
