Of course, it is not – The leadership of the USA does not really want all of its people to vote, just a crowd big enough that the EC can control the outcome – the last election was essentially "decided" by below 40 million US citizens, except it was decided by the EC, but since so few voted nobody has any relation to what the EC does. The USA lives in a fucking bubblegum in that regard – Perhaps ask the immense Fear Factor that exists in the US why this is so. The average daily fear factor in eg. Europe is far far lower than in the US – Most Europeans do not go out on the street doing their daily tasks thinking that something horrible might happen, so I´d better bring the heavy torchlight or whatever just in case – This does happen in the USA, also in neighborhoods where nothing really happens. If America ever wants to become Great again, the fear factor has to be dealt with – which is a huge factor that can not be solved by any one-sided part or party, it will require as amny citizens as possible – but since they apparently don´t give a flying fuck or do not understand why the Election day is not a National Hollyday then the ship is not gonna change any course soon.
