  1. The USA suffers from a love for Guns, its in it heritage but it does not make sense anymore. Australia had it, Britain had it - they made it illegal and the mass shootings stopped. The 2nd Amendment has become nothing more that en excuse to keep the weapons closet filled and keep the gun producers earning money on their home market. The more paranoid the USA becomes the bigger are the chances for more mass shootings and gun outbreaks - That is not going to save the USA now is it?. Some claim that the 2dn Amendment is there to throw of the government in case its harming its own people - Well guess what, it is already harming its own people in more than one way and has done for a very long time and nothing happened - so what kind of bad does the government need to do for all those with guns saying now is enough?... I think there is no clear answer to this - In the end such a scenario will be an act of desperation rather than an ideological call to change. And what would the USA be changed to? - a rampant mash up of militants local groups driving around making patrols and shooting everything that seamed suspicious in their eyes - well welcome to the chaos of the middle east and welcome to a new self destructive and fascistic parole. Of all the revolutions coming from a majority of people in modern times, none was based on the fact that we have weapons. Weapons is not the fire that drives a revolution - the need for change is. Weapons come into the revolution when the revolution becomes violent - that happens when military and police forces are being divided, when they can no longer accept putting up force up against their own people - because you know they have families and friends too. When a revolution needs armed fighters, weapons will be stolen and captured and used - you do not need em before hand. A revolution or change of government beyond the normal, does not need weapons - what is needs is a majority of citizen standing together in the first place. Keeping access to guns in the USA at the current level is keeping the Paranoia open - Cops will be always be extra Alert because you know - that person might have a gun. You walk around and its better that you have a gun because someone else might have one too - That is self defense measures based on self caused problems. When paranoia and fear becomes part of your otherwise "normal" life - you have opened the gates to hell - you have started to mistrust your fellow citizen, you have started to withdraw and to suspect - because that gun sitting in the holster is always reminding your body of the possible dangers that might be the next thing happening. And if you forget your gun one day - fear might arise since you are now feeling defenseless and naked. All these and many other emotions and subconscious patterns will keep you on extra high alert because of the guns that has a constant place in your mind and for your feeling of security. While extra alert might sound great it comes at a the cost of overheating and exhausting the mind and the brain - which then might lead to high levels of stress related symptoms, illness or compensated with unhealthy habits (Extreme Sugar intake being the main and most common brain need). I can understand that a person working in the military has guns, or a police officer or a professional hunter. Even a hobby hunter or someone living remotely on the countryside where there might be wild animals or where no Police ever would arrive in time of crime happening. But overall no country needs all their citizen to have access weapons - and in particular not the USA - Fuck you guys has the most powerful army in the world by a large margin, and you just raised the budget again. There no complex borders - you have south and you have north and I do not suspect that Canada is going to be a dangerous neighbor - in fact for avoiding invasion the USA could not be placed much better than it already is considering its size. So fuck all these guns in civil life, you do not really need them, they just cause a lot of harm on your self - Its a habit and a excuse for doing something else instead.
