  1. That pipeline is meant to transfer the most crude and dirty oil to be shipped to China. It is not going to do jack shit for the most part of common people in the US. Its not like there is going to be new jobs popping up a long side the pipeline laid in the ground. This pipeline is the perfect example of how large parts of the Oil industry thinks and acts - they do not a flying fuck about anything as long as the black gold is floating then to hell with the rest. Sadly very few people understand the importance of having access to clean drinking water - For fucks sake Water is the Blood of the planets eco system and most of our genes comes from the same roots and gene pools. If the water gets polluted we get sick and eventually we will die from not having clean water its that simple. And Pipelines are not safe - in fact far from it.
