  1. Well, that is at least half or more of the goal – Keeping people scared, keeping people in fear. When we live in a fear state we behave differently and for some, it means to be more open to radical opinions and there are many other behavioral impacts of "irrational" fear state. This fear state is and has been constantly nurtured over many decades and in particular post-WWII. The Cold war was a very prolonged fear state and later "The war on Terror" – Which essentially was a staged and to some degree pre-planned campaign, which is still in motion. If you live in the USA – War coming from the outside into the US is highly unlikely. Strategically the US sits in a very solid spot with the two largest oceans on either side – and there is very far to e.g. the Middle East – A place like Iran is about as far away as you can get from the US borders. Thus not to forget – but the USA has the largest Army by a long shot in the entire world. If something extreme like a nuclear explosion is gonna happen – be assured that the USA is not the place of the event. Offcourse it would still be a catastrophe of immense proportions no matter where in the world it would take place. If you live in Israel you have far more real reasons for having a higher state of fear, but even that can be discussed to some degree. Most of all there is a power game ongoing – and it has roots in the control of natural resources, Oil, Gas, and prospects of pipelines. Russia would be the biggest threat in that regard, but as long as Trump is on some level with Putin a full out War is not going to happen – at least not in foreseeable future. Most of these war "jingles" serve many other purposes – one part is to keep the War industry running. Without wars or prospect of wars and conflicts zones, the stockpiles of weapons and munitions would be so immense and the market for buying war material and munitions would simply decline, which would have a huge impact on the US and also the European economies. Ringing the fear bells of war is simply a way to keep a continued support for having a strong military force which can be used to control the access to the resources in case other deals are not possible. It is economy first and was for a very very long time. Many wars before even WWI was funded by the same world-leading families and they funded both sides of the conflicts. There is no money to made by the all-out destruction of the world – but prolonged wars on foreign soil is on the other hand, fortunate for those with the money in that industry. Just an example: But in the beginning of WWII Ford Industries delivered most of the engines to the German War Vehicles – So when you get this fear – remind your self that it is most of all about the money and it is a business more than anything else. Full out destruction and in particular with nuclear weapons leaves the soil and thereby the resources or other business prospects, like rebuilding contracts more or less inaccessible – That is not good for business. it is tragic that we are still in this primitive state of mind, but do not take all the war "jingles" too seriously – at least not in a way that impacts your daily life a negative and non-productive state of fear. Perhaps the Trumpy "Fake News" has its real point in this regard. Cheers ;)
