At least the time has come where blaming other countries with a strict divide and non-equal rights between men and women has come to an end. - If Western societies cannot even be mature enough to live by the freedom offered through democracy where men as women can vote evenly and live equally – Then nothing has been achieved. In this regard, it might also be worth mentioning that the USA has the largest average use of Pornography in the world. Conservativism surely ain't helping to solve this issue, since the dogma of conservatism is to keep things as they are – Which in this case is Sexual Assault at a young age seen as a normal activity. Tabus does not solve anything – rather they suppress issues which might lead to a continued suffering looping from one generation to the next. The USA is still extremely male driven – the Blue collar areas of the USA are still living by the idea that the Man is the ruler and provider of the family, while the Female is to take care of home – This so backward in comparison to any other Western country regarded as a modern society in 2018.
