  1. These cars are not about making sense - it is statement cars, and by the statement, the size of your wallet is included in the message. You can also buy a Dacia Duster and it will get you to your destination with almost the same amount of space – but you don´t buy it if you can afford an RSQ8, and you do not buy and RSQ8 if you can afford a Lamborghini Urus. Many cars share the same platforms these days – AUDI under VW and you might as well buy a well specked Skoda for far less money. In fact, talking about paying for the Brand and in that sentence mentioning AUDI is not making any sense – in most cases, you could buy other VW brands and repeat exactly what you said in your comment, but I guess you would not if you like AUDI.

  2.  @basichowto3355  Yes that is true too. If I look out of my window here in Berlin, Germany I can see many Audi´s around, but I rarely see a Lamborghini.

  4. Take it from BMW fan – None of these 3 cars is anything "far" in comparison and there is never a "period" because they are under constant development. Secondary they all have their fan bases and their Design DNA kept intact, meaning that people who like AUDI design will still prefer that and vice versa to MB and BMW. Comments like yours are typical for all 3 brands and frankly, it's stupid. It's not long ago that the AMG 63s broke a spell being more agile and to the similar astonishment, the 5 series turned out to be more comfortable. The iDrive has been the best system for a very long period, but MB has made a better interaction with its dual thumb controls. So none of them a far better than the other – it depends on your personal relation to the Brand and how you would like to drive on a daily basis – what makes you feel the best, which is individual.
