  16. Perhaps an invisible 25m wide Wall on Wheels will do the job. And yes this is certainly Trumps Shutdown – He brought on his own election promise to build a Wall with Mexico paying for it – changed it to the taxpayers paying for it. Shutting down the Government over his own failed promise is simply highly irresponsible and head-shakingly idiotic – The Democrats has nothing at all to lose in this debate – Trump is cornering himself into oblivion with this situation that he himself has created – Just again shows what a self-centered incapable, illiterate moron he really is. This dude knows nothing really – "The Wheel is older than the Wall" – hahahhaha – are you kidding. The USA needs to get its head straight on this issue – Just think about how much surveillance and military capacity the USA has in its arsenal, ask DARPA if needed – E.g surveillance drones and fast border response teams would be much more efficient – but NO Trump wants a fucking wall as a symbol of his presidency even it might gonna cost the USA a quarter of its total GDP growth due to the shutdown. He could have chosen nearly any other issue to lead the debate with the Democrats – but No he chose the fucking Wall. What a blistering idiot. Here is Wall – Here is Ladder, here is shovel, here is saw, here is acid, here is a rope, – here is small hands and Very large "a brain" counting wheels on the fire truck driving straight into the abandoned coal mine shaft. Without his dad's money up his arse, this dude would most likely have been in jail many times for scams, failed payments, con artistry and sexual assault. This is the leader of the most powerful nation on Earth – Our combined industrial and information revolution lead to this, shutting down a world leading country over a fucking wall – SO SAD.

  32. As with all these wars, they are wars that can not be won - but that does not matter much. The disruption of a country is what matters. The wars in them self is a Win for the people who profit from the war. In the aftermath a country needs to be rebuild - those who have the capacity will benefit from it. And one must not forget that the US military is very capable a destruction and disruption - in fact it excels at it. First it will take out the main infrastructure with missiles and stealth planes to gain control of the Air space. After air space control the drones will come and do mega surveillance and so on. Not to forget the US propaganda war machine which is often not discussed, but it plays a huge part in all US wars where there is natural resources at stake. Iran is though very big. But look at the strategic placement and then consider where the US forces have installed basses or still are having military activity: Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey (A Nato Member), Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Yemen + They have a quite big fleet that can be used in the Arabian Sea and the Gulfs. It might be that the Iranian people call their country Mother, but if the violent Dad gets all mad, the Mother will bleed badly. Losses will occur on both sides but since Iran would be defending it´s territory - the destruction and disruption will set back Iran for decades of an otherwise prosperous future. All major wars since and including the Vietnam War has not been about winning but about having wars for the sake of war it self. In the Vietnam war soldiers had to follow 5 rules of engagement, which made it difficult to win. In Afghanistan soldiers follow close to 90 rules of engagement - These wars was never intended to be finished fast - they are extended campaigns and they are test grounds for ever evolving military technology and tactics. Syria is predicted to last at least 10 years and its properly more like 20 or 30 years. Before the Iraq war the country was on a brink of taking a huge step forward, so was Egypt, so was Libya. This is not about nationalities or religion - it´s about control and access to natural resources, its about having wars so that there is a continued need for weapons and ammunition, which means jobs and development programs. Nearly all countries in the west are producing or sub producing technology for War equipment - be it planes or otherwise - it is in other words a huge industry. If the International Banksters see opportunities in attacking Iran, in case that the country will not play along their fiddle, then there will be war - they do not care about US soldiers dying nor any body else for that sake.

  57. Economy doing well can mean so many things – it does not necessarily mean well for the common people. Also, economies can be boosted to do well for a certain period of time but it usually tells nothing about the later costs – overheating an economy can also become an issue... But in regard to well-doing economy It is much more important to ask e.g – if the economy is doing so well, why don´t every American have access to decent healthcare without having to go bankrupt or work 3 jobs to pay a medical bill. It is not exactly a minor group in the USA that is uninsured or underinsured. or If the economy is doing well, then it must mean a surplus somewhere and then it must be asked – what is this surplus being used for or where does it go?. Any idiot can say that the economy is doing well, but if there is no addition to the statement it does not mean much. Even the statement of more people having jobs does not necessarily cover it – you can employ a lot of people if they are on the edge and literally have nothing and being hired and paid little to nothing. No paid maternity leave, no paid vacations, no work security etc. – that sounds more like China – which is still run by the Communist party regardless of their open market areas. Economy doing well does is not necessarily the same a nearly every person in that economy doing well. The economy in itself is not the goal, it is what you do with it that matters. Most economies can not keep doing well without some costs raining in somewhere or some declines, so the momentum of doing well must be used to do well – it is not throne that can be sat on forever because time continues as history is created. Usually, only those that already have more than they possibly ever use will not really feel these declines, whereas the people on the other end will literally die from it. Trump at one point stated, "We have so much money we don't know what to do with it" – Well that's were a consciousness leader will try to do something for more people and not just continue to harvest from him er her self and the most elite or build a fucking useless wall. But Trump is Trump and he likes to talk about lightbulbs and Toilets flushings if he not tweeting about everybody else being corrupt, fake and disgracefull. If the economy is doing so well on his watch, he should give free healthcare to all those that need it. That way they can work longer and support the economy longer time. But the GOP and Trump tried it already and failed miserably – even with the majority in both the House and the Senate. I guess Corrupt, fake and disgraceful pretty much summons it up, not to mention incapable.

  70. No, they do not look exactly the same – You might as well pick any two objects that serve the same purpose and say they look exactly the same. Car models are made to serve certain target group needs, therefore they are usually formed within the same dimensions and the production cost are managed in the way that the car can be offered within a certain price range. If you have little or no affiliations or emotions for the looks of example a car, you just pick the cheapest one, since it will properly get the job done anyways. On the other hand, if you are able to see the differences or have brand affiliation you most certainly will not pick just any of the offers. Scroll back in the video to the 4 cars in mention and take a second look – not one of them has the same headlight design, not one of them has the same C-Pillar design, not of them has the same shoulder line, not one of them has the same grill design, not one of them have the same side intake design – but yes they do all have four wheels, the engine sits in the front and therefore they all have a grill, they all have four doors because that is rather practical etc. etc. – What you state is simply wrong; "exactly" is far from "similar" or "alike" – They are all important cars for the manufacturers, they were all going through a design process by different design departments and individuals wanting to reach the same target group – Therefore none of them look completely different in the base dimensions and overall form – but it is also the reason they do not look exactly the same. Nearly Everybody has an opinion on design, but most do not have any clue about it at all – Design is not wildfire decoration exercise but a complex combination of many inputs and elements that intentionally have to serve a particular goal, within specifications, demands and needs, while at the same time create a difference to the competition.

  86. Keeping a country or region in chaos is just another way to maintain Oil Flow Control. Libya was certainly better off with Gadaffi – But he should not have taken the initial step and proposal to bring back the Gold Standard and trying to unite the Arab and African oil states around this idea – or at least he should not have done it without being prepared for retaliation by the global market conglomerates and all their military options including Proxy Extremist. But perhaps it would have happened anyway due to the Arab Spring Plan devised by the Bush administration. Sadly many of the middle east countries and their rich oil resources are fairly easy to bring into local conflicts and thereby opening for black operations and Proxy wars to maintain chaos and thereby hindering any serious development. At the moment where oil ceases to be the major energy resource of the world, most of these countries will then face some extremely difficult situations due to so many years of conflicts and the setback it brings to its populations and now not having any significant resource of income. All in all, it is a loose loose scenario both for now and for the long term. At least Gadaffi had some visions for Libya including fresh water production for agriculture and my other things. It appears that many of the middle eastern oil countries are still not ready for major changes and even if ready they are not allowed for now – The Bush hawks must have read the signs because on the geostrategic level their timing was, in fact, "brilliant" – The Arab Spring has properly set back these countries for +50 years time if not more. On a human level, it is a catastrophe of immense scale.

  89. Bernie used the "Social" word in his 2016 Campaign and despite that had polls showing that he would most likely knock trump cold down at that time. Essentially that 2016 was a mess within the Democratic party and that made more room for Trump. Add to it that the Campaign against Hillary and the immense Social Media voter construct of the Cambridge Analytica was tipping a large scale –Or in fact, it was not even that large at the end. – As European, I was literally shocked to see the actual (popular) votes being in favour of Hillary, but that the Electoral System "changed" the outcome – At that point, I simply lost any belief in the US election system as being a viable democratic construct (I know it is a republic) – even the term Popular Vote is still Alien to me – A vote should just be a vote. Gerrymandering is yet another completely absurd and obviously abused political election tool – it should not exist. Furthermore, I am completely positive that no two parties can represent all the interest of +325 Million people – it is absurdly simplistic contrary all the other elections stuff being absurdly complicated and it makes the US democracy linger in the status quo as it does now. If more political parties was represented it would secure that the politicians would need to do actual politics including compromises and not just blocking the only other party. The people of the USA is essentially a very complex mix of many origins and so is the local cultural regions and is yet another reason for having a broader Political spectrum represented. I also do not understand the American Worker – The conservative narrative is immense and when comparing US worker rights to European workers rights the differences are huge – Essentially the American Worker has not gotten a raise in about +30 years, add to it the lack of Materanti Leave and Paid Holidays combined with privatized healthcare makes the American dream smoulder into a nearly barren landscape of workaholism that more simulate hidden slavery than a modern society. If anybody is telling an American person that they live in the best country in the world they are simply dead wrong ·– The USA is more and extremely smart construct of hidden but essentially organized Tyranny played at the Everyone for himself, be proud, be strong and keep winning – which logically is impossible for everyone to do, so you end up with a few winners and a lot of "losers". But I guess that the Unions was bullied and corrupted into nearly non-existent organisations, wielding no real power at all. That again is a noticeable difference – the European Worker Unions are still represented in the political negotiations between the State, the private sector and the workers which makes a huge difference in why Workers right and benefits for the European workers are much better than for the American Worker. I must add the European worker still might be somewhat nationalistic and/or conservative in his or her political view, but since there many more parties to vote for, the choice is not reduced into the "Conservative" vs "Democratic or perhaps more correct Right vs Left. I sincerely hope that the USA will get a new president at the next election – I am not suggesting who that should be or of that person should be a Republican or a Democrat, only that Trump is for certain a really absurd president that has achieved nearly nothing but tax breaks for those that need it the least and pulled the USA out of so many international agreements that suggesting the USA is being the leader of the free world is becoming a farce of epic proportions. Guns and hardcore religious beliefs are a thing of the past and not a good combination – just look at the middle east – everything the US officially is fighting it does in its own backyard. It is not what the world needs now, it is not the way forward. USA! Get a better leader, that is at least not so obviously self-absorbed, literally ignorant and obviously incapable of doing his job.

  107. While I am for EVs this documentary is a bit one-sided, but the wake-up call is still a good one. Germany has nearly always been a slow mover, but usually when the decisions are finally made Germany is usually also extremely effective in executing those goals. This Video shows some facts about what is on sale, meanwhile, I can look out of my window in Berlin, or on the App Store and see quite some offers for urban electrical mobility including cars. German EVs... The E-Golf is on sale in Germany, the BMW i3 has been on sale for a long time and was till about 2017 the most sold electric car in Germany (Not to mention that it is also extremely lightweight and have more recyclable and recycled materials than anything else currently on offer). Mercedes is coming with a whole new range of EVs (EQ) – one for nearly every segment, Smart is coming as an EV, VW is also coming with a whole range. Audi has already put the E-Tron SUV on sale and many more are in the process. Porsche has just released its first EV and when considering Europe, both Jaguar, Renault and others already offer EV´s in different segments. So looking with a slightly different view, the German car industry is not excluding EVs at all – One could state that at least for local (EU) foresight, the German car industry perhaps want to make sure that a charging network will be available to the rising numbers of EVs – else if will for sure be regarded as a failure. Strategically it is not always those that move first that harvest the victory – in fact with technology the development cost are often huge and it is much cheaper to copy the best stuff and leave out all the mistakes – Just look at China. Apart from that, the video is correct about the german engineering jobs that need to be redirected, but yes the Germans are working on that too as the video is showing. Another prospect of the EV is replacement parts – That is an area which is not often mentioned but is still a very large part of the industry's income and its service networks. E.g EV´s brake disks will run much longer along with a huge part of CE replacements that will no longer be needed for new EV cars. On the other hand parts like tires, rims, vipers, lamps, Electric cabling will still be replacement parts. Still this will be a blow to the industry's income, – but it will be same for all manufacturers, except those who have started as EV like e.g Tesla. What properly bugs the minds of the German Auto Industry is how they are to maintain conceptual advantages on their EV offers ahead – On the top executive segments it will not be a problem, but on the entry and mid segments it might well become one and these segments are indeed important. But overall it is a problem that all car manufacturers will face – New generations are not really that interested in cars or they do not have any big wishes to own a car – the final nail in the coffin comes with Autonomous vehicles – You can not promote driver-related POS´s to customers not interested in the subject since the car will drive them (BMW), technological POS´s (like Audi) will have a minimal impact, since if you rent a Shuttle or participate in a community-driven shuttle base the services are to be expected part of it – just like with leasing. Luxury seems still to be on many buyers mind, so at least for that part the German industry still has a few offerings up its sleeve. And frankly, while the change is happening fast and also needs too – Germany is far from completely asleep on the subject – it is just a very big ship the needs to take a sharp turn and currently there is still a very large demand for e.g SUV´s even that it does not make any sense in terms of our future planet prospects. I am sure that the "old" Auto Industry is fully aware of the timing and when to expect these trends to change more radically, at least in the more traditional markets in Europe and the USA. China is, on the other hand, booming ahead and they do not have the obstacles of "Democracy" and the Bureaucracy coming with it, which gives China some huge advantages. But China can not be blamed – everybody wanted in on China without considering the long term effects of giving away technology. So they better get up on the horses and invest in what is going to be in demand, and that for one big thing includes a large number of nationwide charging options – Norway is showing that it is possible and as she said – Get work done on the subject – a term every German can understand or least should be able to understand.

  111. The problem for the UN speech by Trump was not the laugh but the actual content of the messages sent by Government of the USA. In fact, this speech was the most coherent speech I have ever heard by Trump – And it is a scary scenario that is being painted but at the same time nothing new at all. Expect a War on Iran as it has been planned for at least back to the Bush Jr. period. The resource game and the bankster Elite are still exactly where they have been all the time. In the moment where Trump should get in real trouble be assured that the US War card will again be played to divert the attention and to momentarily unite the nation of the USA. Expanding the military budget of the already immense US military budget is the strongest hint one can get that a new military conflict soon will be needed to keep the Military Complex Running. Not till this devious and problematic loop is rerouted and changed nothing really will change. Again as it was with Bush the "Either you are with us or you are against us is being used" – That is yet another hint of an escalation in process and in reality a public treat. The USA has the largest army in the world by a very large margin, it is the largest seller of military equipment and so its market is naturally in conflict and war – even for defensive purposes you need to have an enemy to account for the immense spending in this sector. Donal Trump might be an idiot but it is not him who in reality is pulling the strings – He is very good a creating a circus and thereby a perfect diversion away of the real challenges that the human race face on the planet. One could hope that Iran would be really smart and lay down and pay the good dog – Since that would create some real headaches in the nasty parts of Pentagon and by their many contractors and Trump would no longer have that all Ace US war card to play. But remember that Iran is closely connected to Russia an Putin – so all that we see might not be as it is seen. Trump speech mentioned the integrity and patriotism of every nation – but that is such BS when the US is the nation in the worlds with the most military bases spread around the globe. And North Korea is not really a target of the USA, because it is too close to Chinas borders and there is not much to steal (gain) in North Korea anyway – it is more pre defensive concern than anything else. Only that lost battle a long time ago might still annoy some stern and too proud old military generals inside the USA. Irak, Libya, Egypt, and Syria is already outplayed – What they need is help not more war. So what countries are left worth invading – Count it by their oil and natural resource reserves to get the picture. It is not even about stealing the oil, but to have access to it that counts – and if it can help lower the oil prices it is just another bonus. Trump's speech where for Trumps measures a rather well-executed speech – The world might laugh at Trump for the moment, but we will not laugh when yet another disaster scenario unfolds with troops and civil counts escalating in yet another 10-20 year war scenario in the middle east. John Bolton is now on board – he has been a key figure whenever a war was to established – This man in the WH spells war disaster coming, make no mistake. Unless the USA transfers a large part of their military jobs into civil jobs – Wars will be a continued necessity for the US economy and for the Elites control of the world's resources. I am tired of laughing at Trump how entertaining it might be – the fact is he is the POTUS and that his administration consists of mostly absolute nut cases or people with extreme connections into the Banskter elites. I have a hard time believing that these people are the best people that the Republicans can muster to lead the USA for the benefit of its people. In any case, expect a war scenario to unfold right around the moment where Trump will be under really nasty pressure – unless Pence is calculated into the plan.

  120. Sorry, but I´m not sure that anybody really knows Trumps exact plans. What leaders, politicians and media personalities say is not necessarily truth, neither is it necessarily lies and it can be both - But there is no way to be sure without evidence. When investigation leads to a dead ends, the next choice is nearly always to follow the money - Which in this case is the essence of it all. This is not about politics really - This is about tax evasion on a very high level and it includes persons from all over the world and from all kind of political segments, Queen of england, Syrian President, people in Trumps administration, Some very rich so called Democrats, Bono U2, Russian Billionaires with ties to Putin, Apple, Nike and the list goes on an on. There is no political ideology here, its all about the money and its all about not participating in the societies under their respectful laws. Other than that - Yes consumers do hold a lot of power if they buy products from "healthy" companies and producers - Companies that do not appear to act as alienated from society. The best way to know companies and producers is usually to buy local, not only national but local whenever possible. I hear a hint in what you write - Getting the jobs back. But we might be too late for that, since the AI and robot revolution is coming to the doorsteps extremely fast now, and that sadly will generate even more people without a job, unless we are getting re educated/updated to move a long with that progression. If we consider why all those companies and people move so much money to so called tax heavens - Then one must at least consider the possibility that some of these people expect a economic change or perhaps even some kind of collapse - and those with money outside, will then have an extreme advantage in the aftermath. People in general does not care that some people are very rich - but its not right if these riches are acquired by extractions of taxpayer money, neither if they are gained by illegal activities. And no one should ignore 21 Trillion dollars - That is such an immense sum of money, that it will be hard to describe what can be achieved with such a sum if it where to be put into active use in the various countries and amongst the people and the legal businesses and companies. The Paradise Papers are beyond Trump - Its a far more extended practice, a far more complex net of very powerful people and companies that all seams to utilize the exact same loopholes for the exact same reasons. At least it must be fair to conclude that there is no morale to be preached by the Persons or the companies who participate or is linked to this tax evasion catastrophe. They are avoiding to pay their fair share to the societies in which they live and/or operate in and must therefor be regarded as profit leaches.

  122. They are both, in particular, Jared running most of the stuff behind the public scenes. Trump can not anymore allow himself to be directly involved in security interference that benefits or brings his own family and himself out of the trouble zones – that is, with the current people in the scope of investigations a very high risk. So he needs Jared and Ivanka to have the clearance so that he gets to know his options for putting gravel into the machine and play the way he is used to playing – Dirty and indirectly whenever possible, not giving direct orders but talking in a code – not much different than many other high ranking criminals are doing it. The Trump organization is one of "classic" scams and fraud schemes that only people and families with a lot of wealth can allow themselves to do because they have enough money to constantly take anything that does not go their way into court. Remember Trump was entering office with +3500 lawsuits running. I have always wondered how it is even possible to become a nation's leader in a so-called democracy with so many cases of lawsuits. In any case, Trump wanting Jared and Ivanka having top access security clearance is a very strong hint that he knows the foundations of his suspect leadership is most likely to become under heavy "artillery" with good reasons in regard to the general laws. Another very simple explanation is that he himself is so bad a reading that he needs others to do it for him – because as it is already known from the very beginning of his presidency he did not read the security reports coming to his desk, in fact, he did not care about them – As the President, he has the clearances already. But as said if he directly tries to interfere in investigations regarding himself, his family and business that will be the obvious indication that he has a lot of stuff to hide from the public.

  157. Not sure I follow you on the "no difference between "radical islam" and islam". With all the main religions we currently have and have had, the issue of the message(s) is very often a matter of interpretation, which then spurs various actions which might be radical such as killings, suicide bombings, other related violence or if we go back in history e.g. Witch Burnings. Is that not what defines radicalism, when persons or groups of persons make actions that is to be considered Radical by the general morale of the current society. I guess one would not be labeled radical because of being e.g a Republican, but if one is a member of and active KKK fraction and a Republican, then the definition could be somewhere around the "Being a Radical Republican or Radical Rightwing. In the same way if you have a Muslim that lives a normal life and does not make radical actions against others, then he or she can not be called a "radical muslim" contrary to the Muslim that picks up a suicide belt or plants a roadside bomb etc. Most persons that end up taking part in radical behaviour either have severe personality issues or they have a dramatic history that lead them into this - Revenge would be just one example factor, perhaps coming from desperation of loosing persons you love. A few might be born into a social group that lives by a radical order and therefore might never have learned or experienced anything else. Last there are always men who just like to see the world burn. I can not see how "Radical Islam" and "Islam" can be considered the same, it would be like saying that all "Christians" are "Fanatic Christians Willing to kill in the name of Good". There is also Football Fans and there radical Hooligans - They do not share the same view on how to celebrate the game.

  178. @ Keven Dudgeon. Yes essentially you are right – For non-nuclear military Force, the US does not have to fear from nearly anybody else. But this fact does add to the hypocrisy at play – If the US does not fear e.g Russia on the battlefield, then they should have very little to fear from Iran or North Korea. But how many times has it not been portrayed like that? eg. At the beginning of the Irak invasion – Ohh the Republican Garde, later Al Queda and ISIS. Well, that is war propaganda at best. A little bit below these PR scams something else is lurking. The fact that even with the immense US technology at hand, Russia does have pretty good countermeasures. An example is their mobile missile systems – They are not exactly new new, but in combination, those 3 main Russian mobile defense missile systems are pretty effective against various intrusion objectives that might come from the Western forces either as planes, drones or missile. The latest iterations of the Mig Multirole fighter is also still a very capable warplane vs Western warplanes. Then there is the Morale aspect of the men on the ground. This is a cultural interesting aspect. The US forces are in general highly bolstered up – Let´s Go, Le´ts Do this! etc, the classical US over the top mentality, the unit hype moving forward approach – But when one studies the aftermath of many US veterans – deep human wounds are obvious, like a mirror that has cracked to reveal another far less heroic revelation. The Russians have without doubt many similar cases, but the "Slav" mentality is far more rural and pragmatic with the terrifying spice of also being extremely raw and brutal. In a prolonged ground engagement with casualties on both sides the Heroic image of young western soldiers will be likely to crack over that rather crude giving no shit vodka approach. Such scenario will eventually only leave the best-suited soldiers on the ground and that will even the unbalance severely. The biggest and most important asset of the US War machine is without doubt Air Superiority – And it is like that because in nearly all post WWII scenarios no enemy had anything even remotely that could pose a challenge to Air combat and strategic insurgents like missile strikes. But put the Russians on the other side and there will certainly be casualties on both sides. The US will still be supreme on the battlefield, but not so much in the press and in the public. The West, in particular, is very sensitive to a large number of own casualties – And I am not saýing that Russians mothers won´t cry, just that it will not matter so much due to the way Russia is governed. A huge movement in public opinion for a war with many casualties can be the very loss of a Western offensive. If the US did not have any fear or respect for the Russian military they would have hit the Russian Tundra for natural gas a long time ago, but instead, it has been a +50 year slow creep avoiding direct confrontation. There are for sure many other strategic, economic and political reasons for this, one being the oil flow that comes from Russia. Russia is still the 2nd largest oil producer int he world after the Saudis and Russia still do sell its oil on the open market – That is, of course, another major reason not to "intervene". The West and in particular the US wants access to that black gold as a Junkie wants his fix – When the fix is offered at reasonable prices and traded in US Dollar there is little intent to break that set up. Overall Russia is the war opponent that the US has the least interest in meeting head-on no doubt. At least for now or till a set up will allow for nearly no human losses and the Western War Command is assured to keep the upper hand from the very beginning. And yes, as you Say; Puting is not that Stupid – In fact Puting is far from stupid on the contrary he is highly adept and knows "the game" form the inside which is something that can not be ignored in the case of an escalation. A commander in chief must be able to make the right decision in a war scenario and I am sure as it is now Puting is superior in that part vs Trumps ego-emotional and unpredictable de-rails.

  184. In nearly every case with Trump he has started off on the wrong foot, then later to come back and appear to fix it, mostly brining it back to where it was – Essentially he achieves nothing but media coverage. In retrospect his is nearly incapable and the best current deal for the Republican party is a status quo, because he is not the guy who can not make it happen. He did though achieve one major thing and that was the tax breaks for the top – it happened while everybody had their jaws hanging down wondering what the hell this guy was up to – but at least now it is pretty clear that he is up to no good and even if he was he could not make anyway. Spoiled, incoherent, narcissistic, ignorant, illiterate, repeatedly lying, trying to make everything a large thing on his behalf, performing best on the golf course, In best company with dictators and the old enemy Russia, Exploiting his own assets for Tax payer money and he can´t even cover it up. Not only does he have all these bad traits but he is also way to old and I am sure the system behind it knows that he does not have a clue. Even from the very beginning he stated publicly that he did not read the security reports from the various national US security organisations – Crazy. Trump does what he always has been doing in the Trump Organisation – making some deals he think are really smart and bullying it off if it turns out it was not so smart afterall. He is far from fit for the job – way way too many interests at stake both domestic and international – he can not fathom it all and he can not fake it all – His only chance is to just be Trump for as long as possible because that is the only thing he knows. He is also a split personality which sometimes makes him unpredictable even for the hawks add to it that he sometimes is a bit lucky – but that should not really be the positive traits for the president of the USA. This guy is a complete failure as a President unable to do or even inspire the slightest trust to all those that looks in the direction of a world leader. All Presidents face various problems that they can not always solve – The big difference is that Trump is the problem.

  186. The Danish Churches are getting money from the state through taxes, but any citizen can choose not to pay this (the amount is very small compared to other taxes in Denmark). So that gives the state an authority to regulate any discriminating actions by the official Danish Church. It also important to note that all the Scandinavian countries were former Viking based – That period ended around the 900-1100 A.C. At that time the conversion to Christianity emerged. But a 1000 years is a very short time even in human history and may be one of the underlying reasons why so few people in the Nordic countries are not believing in God or the Bible, but simply uses the Churches as a formal ground for basic rituals such as Marriage and Burial. In fact the Nordic Paganism in many ways far more on par with modern holistic directions - regeneration and praise of nature etc. and why various Paganistic directions are getting a much stronger foothold in the north again - back to the roots being pragmatic and embrace the soil from where we receive the things that makes it possible to live. On the other hand, it must also be mentioned that in Scandinavia of today a huge debate is overshading nearly all other political issues and that is the debate of Refugees, immigrants, giving statesmanship etc. But even that debate has little to do with the belief in God. It is properly far more a revolt against anything religious and cultural based that discriminates against certain groups – like e.g Women. But this debate also becomes descriminating in itself which then spurs the debate further. Several Danish Christian Priests have stated in public that they do not believe in God - Now imagine that in a bible belt in the USA. In Denmark, it did not spur any serious debate at all – a few days and a bit of commenting in the press and it was already forgotten. Nobody really cares about this – it is not essential to living a good life, in fact, was it executed the way it is in countries and regions where Religion is the main focus there would probably be a revolt quite fast.

  198. It is not Islam really – it is the way it is interpreted – We have had the same shit not that long ago with Christianity, which burnings and whatever cruelties was put on the table for those in power to remain in power. In older fashioned societies the pride of the Family is highly important – that essentially means a weakness to be exploited. The West, Russia, and China know how to play this all too well and that is what we essentially are doing. These conflicts could never escalate to the level we have seen in the "Arabian Spring" without the West, Russia, and China providing modern arms and munitions, thus intervening when necessary to keep the control of the access to the oil and/or for Geostrategic long-term concerns. Sadly what you call Islam has, in fact, little to do with the bloody mess we are witnessing. It is simply a culture that has not yet given up on pride as a main driving factor – an as said something we smartly (but sadly) utilize to maintain our own goals – Which most importantly is having a constant flow of oil coming our way. Without oil a large war cannot be effectuated – read oil reserves. Without weapons sale to e.g the Saudis no Jobs and no oil in return. Seeing Islam as the main problem is simply wrong – It comes in as many interpretations as Christianity does – You can have Christian Hippies and Hard Rock bands or people who bring their M16 into to Churches. It is not different than Islam in that aspect. Only about 2% of the entire Muslim world is to be considered extremist. That apart one must also recognize that a large part of the Muslim world is essentially very conservative – in fact currently a very large part of the entire world is rather conservative. When you got Conservativism at large it means not giving in to change, but let things remain as they are believed to be – that is yet another trait the can and is being exploited by the people wielding the real power. If I say Family and Country first to an American - I am sure that he or she will agree in a lot of cases – Tell that to a Muslim and be assured you will get the same acceptance in most of the cases. As they say in Thailand Same Same but different. Last but not least – If anybody sees Islam as the major problem of all this mess, then consider that we are selling for billions of modern arms to the about most conservative Muslim and Sharia Law based country in the World Saudi Arabia. Goodnight and thanks for all the Oil – here are some weapons now go kill each other making our aftermath job a lot easier and prosperous.

  206.  geheimschriver  Properly (in the cases stated with dictatorship) we (as in Europe) would like to do something about it, but I am quite sure we could not do much: 1. The USA has the largest standing army in the world equivalent to at least the 5 next largest armies combined. 2. The USA being placed in North America makes it very difficult to conquer – or in other words, to actually put boots on the ground to regain control. 3. The citizen of the USA is armed to the teeth and would make any case of the above even harder to do. 4. This may sound sarcastic and it is, but with the education level declined on so many areas, thus the indoctrination of US citizen post-WWII, it would perhaps be very difficult to establish any reasons that would resonate with an uprise by the US citizen. This part is a very unfactual statement, but if a majority or close to a majority are choosing the dictatorship, then why would they want anything else, at least until most would have suffered enough over a longer period. 5. in a US future dictatorship it would also be very difficult to use "propagandistic" methods to turn the tide against the dictatorship – since powers in the US are already at top of that ballgame, even the Military has special branches for these parts of the war machine, not to mention surveillance systems like the NSA. 6. Did you know that the 2nd largest language in the USA is German (Sieg LOL). The whole problem of Biden in a worldview is that "we" have essentially come nowhere and only learned that Trump definitely was a step in the wrong direction. After Trump, we will be back to status quo, and strangely that is to be considered a win because the alternative is unbearable.

  220. They are partly changing course because the USA as a nation clearly was compromised by Russian interests – That does not go well with Conservative ideals. "Communism" and Russia has been hammered into peoples minds since WWII as the enemy, the really bad stuff "Anti Freedom". Trump was acting weirdly powerless at several meetings with Putin – That was noticed by all sides of the political spectrum, but then fast forgotten in all the media chaos and havoc Trump can bring with a single tweet. Everybody even FOX and friends must now also consider what Trump and his team, in reality, can do for America. The rich already got their tax deductions, Trump has no Healthcare plan to replace Obama Care, the Military already got a +60 Billion budget increase, The Wall was a major flop and Trump played it the worst way possible. Properly his best public act has been North Korea, but in essence, it has lead to nothing concrete for the future – last meeting was a flop too. Several of his leading team members are openly inept, singleminded and completely lack experience in their respective fields, such as e.g education. And what is then left – People like Bolton who has been a warmonger and radical covert establishers since before Bush, Barr also a Fixer also from the Bush era. The perhaps only good thing is that Trump very possible do not like real violence and real war. But if he has no other cards to play when more dirt is coming from the ongoing investigations, chances are that the dark side of administrative USA will again as usual turn to War to heal the broken American dreams and unite the pride in the nation. But even that might not go too well anymore since most of the Oil reserves are already secured and on the long term might not be that great of an investment due to new renewable energies in combination with stricter rules in many countries an regions. Trump is extremely old fashioned and has no real visions that can turn the tide for the USA – All he has done is to poke to the nationalism blaming all problems on immigration issues. This is being done everywhere and it solves nothing because it is far from the only problem. Clowning, lying, harassing and media scapegoating through a Presidency as important at the USA's is no real leadership regardless of which side of the political spectrum you belong too. Perhaps this has begun to dawn on FOX news and they rather see another typer of Conservative leader, they can support without having to become utterly far out in their political defences.

  239. Somehow, it properly comes more down to how good the Democratic nominees will do. They certainly on paper should have a window of opportunity due to the endless scandals made by Trump, but it is politics and it is the USA – The usual key points of abortion, guns and healthcare will for sure surface and that might cause otherwise Swinging Republican voters to change last minute. Democrat candidates should also decide on their foreign policy messages – it should not be too difficult considering the mess the Trump administration has done in that area – never the less the messages must be clear and unwavering. Though I always loved Bernie for his consistency on his politics I think that both Biden and Bernie are getting too old for the job, just like Trump is too old for it. The recent US withdrawal from the Paris Agreement should also raise some concern that the USA needs someone with a practical, progressive and sincere eye on the worlds environmental challenges, not just the Co2 question. In fact it is a scandal that a supposed world-leading economy is abiding already difficult plans for the global future directions and a lack or ignorance of seeing opportunities in regard to green technology and new jobs over withholding the old power circles of the oil industry just speaks volumes of the power infiltrations of the USA. I would even hope that a much more qualified fresh and younger Republican candidate would surface since nearly anybody with a "normal brain wiring" would be a better choice than Trump regardless of political side.

  272. Lot of different opinions on this car - I have now watched various reviews and I did like that Doug showed a lot of interesting details, something that I did not see in any other review so far. If one has the money surely buy one of these - on track it must be the current thing to have - surely it´s no "GT" - it´s too hardcore or rather without compromise to be a traveler. Even the one who would take the ride could end up with the problem of storage space - I´d still like to see a Journalist try it out. The design is extremely contemporary and they have managed to keep a lot of Ford GT hints - even several proportional clues are still F-GT recognizable despite the extreme and purpose made "carving" - that in it self is quite an achievement. This car stands out from the crowd for being a no compromise speed and handling monster and I can not see what is wrong with that. When Porsche, Ferrari or McLaren makes super Hybrids the Auto Journalists complains about weight and suggest just stripping out the EV systems to save the weight - Well! here you go with the GT - This is the low weight extreme, a hyper modern racing car that is road legal. The price tag fits the extremeness of this car and those buying this car will have other cars to drive on a daily basis. Perhaps it disappoints by not having the long distance ability - In that way it might not fill the expectations to be the next Ford GT - it sorts of leaves one jaw dropped from it´s raw approach, performance and a little baffled for the lack of any effort to create the slightest comfort apart from the very basics. One could wish that from this monster a new more diverse Ford GT with a broader appeal will arise. But still that does not make this GT less. It is a statement from Ford - a very raw statement.

  304. ***** Thats fair enough I do understand you catch, but I do not agree. Coincidently I just saw a dark blue Tesla S driving by on the street where I live about 45 min ago. and we are on 5th Floor. To me it actually have more of a Jaguar presence than an Aston if I should compare it to another car. But I can tell you that I thought the Tesla S was a very beautiful design when I came out. But I have seen several in real now and it is still very well proportioned car, but it is big and it´s does not strike you, you notice it´s elegance in the same way as with a big Mercedes. If you see an Aston Martin you cant help noticing it, not as hot as a Ferrari or a Lamborghini but closer to that kind of presence. You must also take into account that Henrik Fisker actually had a hot date with Tesla while there where developing the design - That later turned into a minor clash between Fisker and Tesla S regarding something about the technology. But as you might now Henrik Fisker was the former Head of Design for Aston Martin. So while I don not agree that they look the same, some part of the way the line dynamics and the stance work could be said to have similar approach, but "looks like" not. You noticed something that is not all the way off but far from "look like" Thats why I said I get your catch. An I had to correct you, since the bashing hard in these forums sometimes goes insane and it´s ridiculous. The Aston design came before the Tesla S and it has to be said in that way, not to offend the history of either company and not get the usual Europe vs USA dick contest started. Cheers ;)

  305. I think everybody but especially American citizen should realize that Bernie might be the last chance for making a direction change. If the rigged and established system is continued unchallenged then the rest of the not 1% is gonna go down the drain, some fast the rest more slowly. As Gandalf talks with Saruman and it becomes clear that he serves Sauron - Gandalf says: "He does not share power with anyone" - And so it it is with the absolute top elite - Why would their approach change?, Why would what they want be less? - They already have more than than they possible can consume in a lifetime...so it is not about that for them* (*The super "greeders" will never have enough - it is a sickness) ...It is a real life game of power entangled in it self on a global scale - Even if just a few of them wanted change they could very likely not do it. This system can not be broken or changed from within, it must come from the democratic process - Meaning from the Voters and the people. And forget that American Dream, the USA ranked 21 in 2015 on the list of world countries where that dream was most possible to achieve - Keep going down that same road with the same ideals and that dream will remain a dream forever. Bernie Sanders is by far the most genuine presidential candidate that the world have seen in a very long time. He is a skilled and experienced Politician - He knows how the system works and and he speaks clearly about what he intends to do if elected. He views and political ideas have not wavered over decades. He dares to challenge the establishment and bring up the issues that no one really want to face - but issues that we need to face - Theres is currently No One Like Bernie in the world - That is why I say he is most likely the last chance you have America. Don´t blow it.... ------- Trump - No thanks, He is unpredictable and that is my biggest issue with him. No keys and codes to the Nuclear Arsenal please - On a bad we will likely all Burn by his small hands. Hillary - No Thanks, She is entangled - She is the Status Quo, She will not change a thing.

  308. It´s certainly not a very inspiring exterior - it´s rather Conservative. The F-Pace wins for dynamic looks in this class, and the MB is also better shaped than the Audi. There was a time when Audi launched cars like the TT, the Q7 and those where cars with a lot of distinct character for exterior design and also not to forget the the A5 and A7 Coupe with much elegance - ooh and the R8. But somehow the exteriors of Audi has become a rather rigid affair, very controlled and in my eyes looks like too many perfect lines on the drawing board and too little passion in the actual conversion into real 3D shapes. I´m not a MB fan but I must say that they have done far more to evolve their DNA progressively than Audi - MB have had many more style studies including more crazy stuff, thus have allowed various of their studios to go quite different directions - this has paid off a long way for exterior expression. And one must also acknowledge Volvo for their re entry after near collapse. In fact the sad thing is that the Audi Design team does come up with very dynamic concepts, but they all seam to get weathered so much down in the process that nothing much is left when the car finally leaves the production line - and it´s weird since the Audi Interiors are so spot on and up to date, but the exteriors becomes more and more rigid - they even are getting close to being a bit goofy - The front on this Q5 is close to that - that extremely huge metal frame looks light it almost could let the car tip over - not particular elegant.

  313. Well Social democracies has worked quite well for along time in several European countries - it is in fact the radical capitalist system that has some major flaws that leaves to many people on the ground and gives too many loopholes to the top 1%.. And it is not like that Social democracies do not have capitalism, there is plenty of it, stock exchanges large corps etc. etc. There is something not right when the USA has more people in prison than any other country on the planet, including China and we are not talking pr. capita but by the numbers. When you privatize the law system it can only go extremely wrong because capitalism is about making as much money as possible with no regard to other elements. People working in the finance sector will agree on this - They do not look much at any other "soft factors" when they work with money and that becomes a major problem over time. There will aways be trade and their will always be people better at doing business than others - Social Democracy does not hinder this. Bernie Sanders is a Social Democrat and by European standards he is not far left, it is just that the USA in reality is extremely conservative rather than being Liberal. When so much money leave the USA via Panama and other tax heavens it is no wonder that the Infrastructure is crumpling. This is money that would keep the basics of society running. It does not help that you e.g have a successful medium business if your delivery trucks cant reach their destination without taking heavy wear and tear - this will make it harder for you to do business. it is called Society for reason and it implies that there would be some benefits because a large group of people come to some basic agreements that all can benefit from one way or another - This balance sheet is now way off the tipping point, because it is not possible to keep a constant growth - it is an illusion of the capitalism system as it is now. Another problem in the finance sector is A.I based algorithmic stock trades - This is making the markets unstable, since it only have regards to the numbers and not to the producers, inventors or the companies. If you had less speculation and far more real investments in companies because what they do, the system would be far less absurd than it is now. Bernie Sanders is probably the best thing that could happen in the USA to avoid the total collapse - All over the Western world we need to get back to some basics and if we don´t manage that we will soon be under the wings of China - and I´d much rather prefer a Social Democracy than a Communist Dictatorship.

  314. That front design I really do not comprehend. The Renegade is bad too but that at least keeps some Jeep DRG DNA. They both look horrible in still images and a little better when in motion. The stance is quite okay, but not as good as the earlier generation Cherokee. From the rear and side they have managed to keep some Cherokee identity but it is overall an awkward direction - To my eyes it feels like they tried to hard making a new contemporary direction and then landed in the middle of the flight without reaching the end destination. But at least many of even the more expensive cars in the SUV market does not look well resolved either. Many of the German SUV´s actually looks very bad too but they have a stronger brand appeal so they can survive it. Jeep should perhaps have taken much closer look at what Range Rover (since their heritage is of similar nature of the true off road credentials) has accomplished in terms of creating a new generation DNA exterior design without losing it´s key visual identity. Wether one like the Evoque or not it is a marvel of compact SUV design for the hyped city customer. Though I´m really not a fan of the new Renegade I suspect that it will sell better than the Cherokee if it is priced correctly - That awkwardness will be much more acceptable in it´s segment also on export markets. On the other hand this Cherokee might not loose too much on it´s home market, but as overseas export product I certainly have my doubt´s. The interior is simply not up to par design wise. It´s not bad, but it lacks distinctiveness and quite some bit of refinement for this segment. E.g. That gear leaver! it looks like something from +10 years ago - That is simply such a lame design for a brand new car in 2014. While certain areas like the digital designs are pretty well rounded the lesson of making the interior B and C areas much less visible and reachable, have not been applied well. I do not honestly understand why Jeep in 2014 will make such mistakes, with so many new talented designers around eager to get onboard.    Jeep is a good brand with a trustworthy heritage and I´m really happy that their cars remain excellent off road, but in this segment they competition is freaking hard and as stupid as it is, those SUV´s are not gonna go much in the mud. While the exterior is a subjective one, the interior is where the most time is spent behind the wheel. If Jeep make statements to be on par with AUDI in the interior quality and feel, there can be no room for mistakes or lack of dedication in design refinement (Then it´s better to under promise and over deliver). And I do not mean in material only - the good solutions usually is not only about how much can be spent on expensive high quality materials, but how much can be extracted in the shapes to create emotion and conceptual consistency enhancing the things that can bear it and hide those that can not. This interior suffers from lack of an overall conceptual consistency IMO. That is somehow not in line with the price tag. Take a lesson from the design approach of the new and also awkward looking BMW i3 - In that car there is no interior A areas, It´s nearly all B or C, but that cabin is contemporary if any. I´m not saying it´s the solution for many cars or to the like of all customers, far from it - but that is not the point - The conceptual approach towards making great interior without the all-out luxury direction is something that should be of interest to any company with a perhaps limited budget. Think it differently to make distinction and create more personality. Jeep certainly thought it differently on the outside so why go so average on the inside?. Seriously Jeep has created an ok, but rather awkward new Cherokee - Somehow they did not go far enough and landed blandly somewhere. If I was an advertising agency to launch this car outside the US I would ask; What is the main POS of this car? To that I can not find any answer...

  318. You if you did not know DARPA released a worldwide competition about a year ago or little more. The goal is to make a humanoid Robot within 2 years time. Among the criteria for then end Robot are; Ability to drive a vehicle, Ability to move over obstacles and debris, Ability to handle various handles, like heavy industrial Switches etc. All this came accordingly to DARPA because of the recent Nuclear catastrophe in Japan. At that time Honda was asked if Asimo could be used to send into the leaking radioactive plant to close important pipelines. But Asimo was not prepared for that task. A lot of people working on this right now but we should not forget who DARPA is; the American Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. When e.g Google start to buy Robot developers and producers, it might be a very strong indication that something is gonna come with Robots in the not very far future. If this is good or bad news I do not know - Just that it could be both. There is already many concerns about the use of war drones now, the same kind of usage could be done with an advanced humanoid robot. Guess there is always more than one side to the most things. Google have furthermore stated that the expect Robots to be the next big business revolution, whatever that means in reality.  While the bee population are radically diminishing due to GMO Pesticides, British Scientist have created robotic pollinators, like small terminator insects - Somehow I must admit that I find it slightly alarming and to some degree scary. While there is no doubt that Robots can be applied with a lot of tasks and already is, replacing Bee´s with robots instead of removing the reason why the bee´s disappear just seams plainly wrong to me.

  419. Sorry, but it is not unfair to anybody who will take such an important seat. And secondary anybody that joins or mixes up with Trump and his administration should expect a lot form the media and the opposition regardless. Only Kavanaugh could not answer directly if the FBI should investigate. And being number one at Yale does not exclude sexual misconduct nor any other crime. Kavanaugh´s hearing was weird to say at least – Why is such a person so emotional going from nearly crying to ill-tempered. E.g He talked about his calendar as if his dad had recently died – but his was sitting right behind him alive. And I do not think it is fair by the Republicans to talk about obstruction – They have been part in closing down the administration several times themselves and also dragging out other nominees for the court. Kavanaugh was the one investigating Clinton on Monika Lewinsky – and he asked very personal questions that he himself now is not willing to answer – so it is not really unfair. Some of these people are born with a gold spoon up their ass and never learns what a regular life includes – pathetic. And meanwhile, this has been taking place more Tax deductions for the very rich has passed. Nobody in Washinton should talk about fairness – they are all in the game and all backed by special interest – Lobbysim taken to the extreme is the political platform of the current USA so-called democratic system and voters parented by the electoral college, yippie kay yah mtfker – Freedom to do exaclt whatever crime you want if you got enough money.

  425. Pro´s and cons to nearly everything – If we can save materials, increase safety, optimize and in general at the same time do nature a favour and thereby our self, then that is a Pro. But there are plenty of Cons as well – AI could and has already cone of the tracks, one powerful AI going rogue could infiltrate a very large part or the whole internet for that sake, with all sort of consequences in its trail – And it could do it without our knowledge in its own language. The more things that are connected the larger the risk. All this does not help humanity very much at this moment in time since we are mentally not ready – too much struggle, too much competition, too much worry, too much fear and way too many emotional decisions not bearing fruitful outcome. How are we going to handle decisions and actions by AI´s that are smarter than us?. – As long as there are goals to keep track of everything we do, then there is always a flipside and that is the side of abuse, manipulation, distraction, diversion. I doubt that those very few people in the world that are already in the centre of very impactful decisions making are willing to let this influence go to a smarter AI that can not fully be controlled – Put perhaps it is something they already can not control idk? – or perhaps they are already taking advice from an AI developed for their purpose. Secondary I would certainly be surprised if the Military Command was not already having some AI that could calculate various scenarios and risk assessments and thereby influence decisions. In the Military history, post the industrial revolution, it has always been assumed that the Military had things/technology that was 20-30 years ahead of current time – If that is still the case is up for speculation, but I would assume that they at least are not behind the current development. As AI´s will become better at assimilating input from human experience, we must also consider that an AI at some point could assimilate a Psychopath and then it is certainly not a very helpful nor prosperous endeavour. Overall we are already playing with the fire in regard to AI and we do it at least officially at the exact merit of what Maurice Conti describes – A positive and problem-solving opportunity for things we could not develop. But at the same time, it becomes clear to everyone that the users are the products and the test "dummies" of the current world leading companies – If this does not get solved then there can be no doubt that the outcome of the AI will be a two-edged sword and how sharp the blade will be and how deep it might cut nobody can foresee.

  426. It looks quite well – in fact, better than the other AUDI SUVs, sits s a bit lower, appears a bit wider and dives more towards the front and does not have any conservative stiffness about it. I am not a fan of the Front grill – that comes out a bit sporadic and appears weirdly plastical – hopefully one can also get the E-Tron in other colors because this Kitchen Blue does not do it much justice. The cabin is very much AUDI and who will complain about that (except perhaps Tesla). Overall I find the I-Pace is just as good an EV design as this, just a different language but equally well sorted. The Model-X still have some show-off capabilities, great range and is very spacious inside – but it is rather clumsy looking on the outside. The MB EQC lands in the middle of it all and I´m not an MB fan, but somehow I think the EQC will grow with time. The BMW i3 is still a remarkable and completely different take on an EV and it has the lowest and best recyclable material footprint of all of them, but I understand people who do not like the looks. I also wish to see the i8 in a full EV version. It will not be a long time before a lot more EV´s will be available on the market – now we just need an upgraded infrastructure to support these cars – How hard can that be I wonder? – we got electricity all over the place already. And I hope that all these automotive tech giants can come to down to a few charge solutions that can be used by all EV´s – do we really need to go through a +ten years period with all that cable BS that users have been offered for electronic devices all over again ??. Anyways the e-Tron looks great but the price tag is high indeed.

  444. Let’s not forget that Ukraine is a natural resource jewel in Europe, thus it was always the tactical knot for Russia and its defense capability. That said Russia completely miss read the actual situation and kept doing all the wrong things. And unfortunately yes it may become a very dangerous situation - everyone has talked about it, but we are unfortunately too hasty minds and forget that we don’t want a war, but a solution. A common enemy is also a dangerous aspect, because it always works in uniting against the enemy, but it often also opens for social fanatism and thereby possible blindsight. But as long as Russia wages war, not caring about people in general be it the Ukrainians or it’s own soldiers, then it’s hard not to choose side with Ukraine and to support Ukraine. Finland and Sweden are sovereign states and they can choose as they want, it’s not something that USA or Nato could really force, since then it would had happened long before. It happens because Russia is handling or actually is in lack of handling the situation they created themselves. If you pick a fight and strike first, and then realize that the opponent is not gonna go down easily, then nobody will hear your cry outs, and if you then follow up by telling you will kill everyone - well you are not exactly working for your own honorable, decent or acceptable way out of the fight. Let’s no overdo this, and remain calm and focused on the actual solution that needs to be formed, because Russia seems unable to in their own capacity. ✌️

  457. Not a bad word on tech and interior other than it appears to be sublime. I´m a BMW fan but for this segment I do prefer the exterior looks of Mercedes over both BMW and AUDI - in fact I do not like the looks of this Audi at all - it´s both pretentious with all its chrome and oversized grill and it is also rather a dull appearance at the same time, there is nearly nothing in shapes, creases or other exterior features that clearly defines this top Audi (The rear maybe) - the MB in comparison has some very defined graciousness and the BMW is not pretty but has more personality than this A8. And why the fake exhausts I really do not understand in this price class. Long time back big cars was much more common and the designs was far more interesting - The only one I have seen work with this lately is Mercedes and the Maybach divisions concepts - That is far more interesting approach to the top end of luxury limousines. To me is feels like the growing Chinese markets have had its markets driven influence on design decisions for this A8 - and that is to a European eye sadly not a good thing. But well it is apart from that oversized grill so anonymous that it will deliver important people of state and commerces to their destinations in the most appropriate and unexcited way - job done for that - yes absolutely. But let´s for moment assume that you have owned a top spec Panamera, but you now want to full monty of a luxury limo with a private driver in front part time - Is this A8 really gonna be the choice or will e.g a Bentley be much more likely?.

  471. Also not to forget that Trump very often uses the good old "Tell the truth" but avoid mentioning who you actually are addressing. E.g: Trump; "I am all about corruption" – We assume that he means fighting corruption, but in fact, he just told a truth. On so many occasions he says something and appears authentic – But one must listen closer and flip it one time – Could he be talking about his own team, himself etc. would that still make sense to what he said and very often it does. And then there are all the obvious Grand Narcissistic traits like "I am a stable Genious" – when someone has to say that, it really means "That is how I want to be perceived" as the "stable genius" but when you say it out loud it usually means the exact opposite: "I am an unstable idiot". All the things he claims to know – flip that around and you know that he is in most cases talking about all the things he does not know. But that is not only Trump – in the USA many people will say yes and or comment on things they have no clue about if asked. This is a shield act, a defence based on a fear of not fitting in, not appearing unknowing, not appearing up to date with whatever is on at the moment. it is a sad cultural habit that if continued only will make everybody feel even worse than they already do – If they felt just reasonable good about who they are and what they know, they would never have a reason to lie about something they do not necessarily have to know about. the answer would be like: Never heard about it/them – with the follow-up question that states that the person is curious of nature, "What is it?" or Who is that? etc. The reason people do not know stuff is because they are not curious to search for topics they do not know about. I do not know how many times American people have failed Gerografi questions – but it is a lot, a sad sad tendency that you have been domesticated into certain beliefs, that more than often is very far from the actual reality. And now to back to Trump. Consider if you have ever heard Trump ask a real and relevant question in public?. I can not recall it. A person that claims to know everything has already failed, since the person would then know not to blatantly say it out loud since valuable answers do not need a sales speech or glorification to be recognized as valuable knowledge. Put it another way: If you ask a person on the street "which way to this place?" – then you do not need the person to tell you that they know all the streets better than anybody else – you just need the person to point and/or explain how you get to that place and the options you have. Trump usually blemishes himself with the "I know it better than anyone, believe me" often followed by the "Right" – seeking the confirmation that you believe he knows it – but he never shares any details, insights, or even well-balanced hints about the subject he talks about. Again you have to flip it - then realize that whenever he proclaims to know a lot about something, he properly knows very little about it – like Snippets from the News etc. Persons suffering from heavy Grandiose Narcissistic disorders are usually trapped in a rather cold world with underlying chaos that will not rest and their only medication is self-centred satisfaction – like being acknowledged, appraised, applauded, glorified, winning over others, bringing others down etc. – If that does not happen due to their Intelligence and/or wisdom then they will seek it like a junkie will seek his/her fix. Forcefully and with no remorse or any other moral considerations bring themselves into a position where this need can be fulfilled. – And yes that is the current President of the USA.

  506. Jumping to the second part and the issue of a European Army – As such I do not think that this was a real "hot" idea within the EU in general, even that it must have to come to the table as a consideration on various future scenario debates regarding EU geopolitical role in the world. What has put more fuel on that idea is the paradigm shift that has happened with the Trump policy direction and the USA pulling towards itself and the EU in general not liking that move. And yes you are right ColdFusion – nothing really great has ever come out of to much centralized power in general. I am really not for War effort at all – but as a European, I must, in fact, consider this subject due to the US relationship becoming shakier. Europe sits in the middle of a lot – anyone ever played "Risk" knows that holding Europe is very difficult. So if the US cannot any longer be generally trusted as a solid ally (and or the US could say the same about Europe) then Europe must act in one way or another. Creating much better trade with Russia and the nearby east regions should be a very high priority since that trade is a much better solution than any war (The conflicts in Ukrainer later years has properly given a strong hint to the challenges, with also USA interfering). Never the less a coordinated EU army will stand stronger than single country individual armies. The problem is of course that a single EU coordinated or lead Army can be used offensively and thereby become yet another world bully or simply put abused for other purposes than the actual mission of having a strong defense. Another problem that might arise from it could be a conflict of Military sales interest – currently, nearly all European countries are producing or sub producing military equipment – but that includes sub production for many US military productions – this includes Artillery, special parts for the F-35´s program and many more. With an EU Army under one command and a weakened relationship to the US, surely certain productions would not be prolonged after their contracts end and then we got the mess of Military technology agreements, "copyrights" sales competition (which is already but would properly become much more openly and fierce). That all points in not so good directions asking for Trouble. But for me as a simple European citizen ( I do not live in my European country of birth but in a neighbor EU country), surely I would also not like to see neither Russia or any another military power even consider taking offensive action against Europe - So this leaves me in a real dilemma – Want a strong European Defense in case that US keep contracting as an Ally, at the cost of problems arising from centralized military and European military productions. With Brexit upcoming and the right-wing movement of divide seaming not to disappear anytime soon, much more of Europe could again become scattered – that leaves individual countries vulnerable to outside aggression and perhaps even very hostile military maneuvres in the weaker east EU member countries. If that happens who is going to do something about it if the might of the US military is not there to back it up?.

  526. The Art of Lying with Truth... – take the answer Trump gave to the Finnish Journalist and then listen to it one more time while assuming he is talking about himself the whole time (Why he can sound convincing). This technique was also used under the Bush, "Terror" campaign – it was actually the Bush administration that installed most of the Terror* so they could speak "the truth" 90% of the time only to call out their enemies as the only real lie in the talk. This is a deception technique and it is highly effective in sending out "body" signals suggesting the person is telling the truth – which might be a key to why Trump appeals to his most core fan base. *(Their frequency of repeating the word Terror in all communication, was immensely high) Trump is always bragging, can´t help it no matter the subject – That is yet another trait. When you willing or have a need to brag about something it suggests the first category of the Narcissist "Promoter" type. These seek affirmation, getting credit and applause. Leading to next step which is the Trickster/manipulator type (Somehow he is just not that smart (politically), but plays it out anyway, Happy Ignorance. And anyway He is just used to be able to pay his lawyers and fend the scam off that way). And there is the Victor/Tyran/Bully type – When Trump is angry or Horney that side comes out – he will also claim whatever to be his doing. His sad tune face is yet another part he often turns to – lowering the voice, tipping his head on the side – that is like asking for forgiveness, but his voice is suggesting "Pitty" with an underlying disgust – because naturally his is the President and you are just another Fake News Journalist – "What could you possibly know that I don´t" – And that is a lot he doesn´t know, and then comes the "Truthful Lies" again, delivered with Brag, "Nobody has done what I have done" – Yes that is quite obvious. Play, Rewind, etc

  540. Trickle Down policies have nearly never if ever worked as intended and it will not work at all in the current time we live in. Nearly all of those who are extremely wealthy does not use their tax cuts for new prospects, most of the time they will use the money to finite stock deals or other asset gatherings. If these people really wanted to change things like e.g create more jobs in the USA - they would already do it - they have power and money to do it. The current financial systems are not stable and that has to do with the US dollar being bound to the Oil and to the fact the the National Treasury is not national, but held by the private bankster elite, who sells the dollars to the Nation with interest. That essentially means that every dollar is not worth what is says on the note, which in return then needs a continued GDP growth to sustain it self and to avoid it from collapsing. Thats why growth is such an essential part of the world economy and why the growth agenda has been pushed so hard for so many years all over the industrialized world - there is simply no room for plan economy since it would make the whole thing collapse very fast. Problem is that it is collapsing anyway due to the dissolve of the working class and the middle class - how is the elite gonna make real money if people do not have money to buy stuff? - Its a short sighted strategy and its not sustainable in the long run. And by shortsighted i talk 50 or 100 years - but that is a very short amount of time considering how long time we have been on the planet and how long the planet has been around. We are now facing several challenges: The extremely low interest rate has been compared to a person being on cocaine for a very long time - The moment it changes is the moment where the pain kicks in - a cold turkey so to say. To change this outcome we have to slow down the pace slightly and we have to consume more intelligently. China is apparently the only current large nation that in this moment have been able to formulate its policy based on a 5 concept pillar platform with a 60 years plan - And that plan includes Green Innovation. All other nations in the west are debating immigration and the old Terror concept from bush is still playing in the background - that way we are getting nowhere while we still expect growth. Green Technology is not a barrier to make profit - on the contrary that is where a huge part of new business can take its roots. We also need a backup monetary system for the people - since the oil industry will not be around forever in its current glory and when it dives strongly it will take a large part of the Military industrial complex with it, as well as some giant chemical providers - But luckily the internet might provide such systems. That is if the AI development does not run amok due to early adopters such as Facebook and Suckerberg not really knowing what they dealing with when it comes to AI. The excess of earth materials can not sustain a continued rapid growth and we need to recycle much more, not to mention cleaning a lot more of the waste we creates and have created - apparently we have a collective IQ that is below the things we are able to create - Not understanding how the planet works is simply so extremely stupid. If we get a finger poisoned its highly likely that the poison will spread to the rest of the body if it is not stopped - The earth works exactly the same way and we drink, eat a breath from the Earth so we should stop poisoning it to avoid being poisoned ourself - its that simple really. I think I have written enough here and I forgot to say thanks for the Video and to Tom Steyer. "People are made to be loved and things are made to used" "The problem is that things are being loved while people are being used"

  542. How confident they all appear about the prospects of AI and its limitations - meanwhile AI projects e.g at Facebook had to be shut down, since it had started to talk to itself in its own language. Now add to the fact the Military Research is nearly always about 10-30 years ahead than what is offered on the consumer market. The nearly only reason we keep going forward at such strong pace with the AI is because it holds the prospect of answering questions that we can not yet solve. A Mega AI Computer connected to the entire internet will be able to render answers and solutions over a few weeks to months that would take a whole intellectual group at a university up to 20 years to cover. Those who uncover new territory will off course have huge advantages over their competitors and rule e.g. the market or the section of the market. It is frankly scary to see how highly naive some researchers are on this field and in particular on the university level - Seen various professors talk about IA and interaction with humans and the ethical aspects that should shell the AI - meanwhile Darpa and others are developing Military AI´s - The prospect of access to enough data and having enough calculating power would make it highly possible that an AI would create something that mimics a neural network, which then could spur a kind of self awareness - In the moment something like this happens, then the gates are wide open for unknown happenings. The worst scenario apart from an AI taking over Robots, would be a manipulating scenario - in fact that would be far far more dangerous prospect of self aware AI than anything else. Coming up next is Bio chips, they will be far superior in processing power which means quite a lot to the overall processing abilities. This video appears like there is absolutely nothing to fear or worry about from AI development, not even the loss of Jobs - Which is frankly an understatement unless the governments would start reeducating the workforces. AI´s are already beating the best gamers in the world from GO to Dotta - Anybody thinking there is absolutely nothing to be concerned about with the current development of AI are simply being naive or they might be straight up lying.

  561. Form the outside of the US there is a lot we do not get to know - I heard about Trump wanting to open up the east coast for oil and gas drilling extraction in the ocean. I have also heard someone talk about many other legislations that he has made while in office – mostly some that have to do with property rights and or oil business. Is there any truth to this and what other things has he made while in the office I wonder?. And I am not saying this to sort of support Trump, I think he is a Grande Narcissist and suffers from other mental issues as well – he is also often an idiot in my eyes. But I just wonder if we are led astray falling for his media scams all the time while he is doing stuff that actually has some very significant influences like Oil Drilling in critical oceanic habitats and similar sort of things. The case of Bolton is a thing that one must consider since before Trump Bolton was nearly always considered a "War Monger" and a person that certainly were not supported by the left side of the room – so some things can easily turn a bit upside down in the havoc Trump has created. In any case, there seems to grow a somewhat negative feeling around Trump (with good reason) like he can not shake it off anymore – more and more things come his way and he got nothing really positive counters going for him – in fact from all the things that have been revealed in international media during his presidency there is nearly no real good news, only one thing bringing NK and SK on slightly better standing. Perhaps he has finally run out of luck and enters waters of bad timing. I was never a fan of Biden as the main candidate, but regardless if he can bring simple but factual messages "facepalm" like to the campaign, Trump will be in for a real battle, because there are so many lies, absurdities and other crazy events around Trumps Presidency that it is like a goldmine for anybody who can put it into a strategic campaign. And Yes, David is a usually pretty on target for reasoning – It can´t be both Lies and Confidentials – either it is confidential/classified information or it is a lie.

  578. The American problem is significant – The cultural focus on winning is dangerous when the reason for winning is forgotten – Usually, the reason for wanting to win would be to apply a change and thereby exemplify and implement a better solution (excluding sports) – You can not do that if the application is all and only self-serving purposes – That is not a good enough reason. In fact, winning for the sake of winning is various degree aligned with narcissistic driven ambition, sociopathy, and psychopathy – you just want to win because it makes you feel better through the loss for the opponent and thereby exemplifies the lack to feel better for other reasons and actions than just winning. Trump's methods are most likely like water drops in the ocean when compared to the most powerful persons and families in the world – never the less Trumps behavior and often blatantly open disgusts are a huge hints to the essence of the problems the world is facing and have been facing for centuries – Power Corrupts and more Power Corrupts more. The Republican party´s questioning to this hearing is contradictory and not at all investigative – it is furthermore extremely aggressive on a personal level. It is fair to ask Mr. Cohens about his miss-doings – but not a single question was raised towards his 10-year of work with to the current President. It is contradictory because Mr. Cohen was hired by Mr. Trump, taking orders and following decisions made by Mr. Trump. Similarly, the other side of the ile has chosen the exact same direction with the opposite goal. As with a lot of things, as mentioned above, the purpose of winning has far outplayed purposes of far more significant value. The battle between two parties is a farce – a display of a democracy bankrupted of any unity, common goals or will to create a better life for all people in the nation. When the supposed leading nation of the world cannot display a reasonable process and its representatives chooses to shows its teeth constantly, even in a hearing – everyone should recognize that there is no example to follow – Winning for the sake of winning is as said not a good enough reason wanting to win – if it is anything then it is most comparable to a virus or a loop that can´t be stopped. After these processes, it will or at least should be very hard for the USA to enter in foreign military actions based on the promise and claim of Democracy and Freedom, since the corruption, entanglements and mafia alike methods are apparently the norms of the most influential and powerful people, dripping ever down through the ranks till it is accepted in large numbers and completely accepted as a way of life. The USA with Trump at the steering wheel exemplifies everything that is wrong with the USA and proposes so little that should be right. At least the hearings are televised so that everybody can see and judge for themselves. That is not the case in all countries – but two wrongs do not make one right. It raises the question how a "normal" person can be a nationalist, law-abiding and country loving citizen when those chosen to lead are so detached from the very basic principles on which the nation was founded.

  601. From a Dane... What worse is that the USA brings out the suggestion in public considering that Denmark has been a complete USA ally post 9/11 and in general also before. – Among the first 3 supporting countries to go into Irak, constantly supporting USA operation in the MiddleEast even that our (I´m a Dane) military is extremely small, the symbolic value is never the less essential. Denmark is part of the F22/F35 program and delivers the special ceramic plates to the planes. Denmark is a Nato country and our former Minister of State Anders Fogh Rasmussen became Secretary of Nato, before he moved to the USA working for Goldman Sachs and a Weapons producer ( I hate this dude) but the allegiance to the USA has been unwavering despite Denmark being a Kingdom and true Social Democracy with amongst other things free healthcare and nearly free education. "Freinds" and/or trusted allies should not go openly about such radical issues making unnecessary havoc in the media – its a fucking disgrace by the current US Administration to bring this issue up. At least all sides of the political spectrum in Denmark and Greenland was like "No". THE USA NUCLEAR BOMB IN GREENLAND... Btw, The USA missed a Nuclear Bomb post-WWII in Greenland – it has never been retrieved (or a least publicly been announced to having been retrieved) along with the chemical mess that was left behind as well. Nobody wants to talk about these issues but it does not mean they do not exist. My theory is that it was left there on purpose as a security device (booby trap) in case of a Russian war settlement in Greenland. I have nothing to support or back up this idea and I am not an official, political, military or parliamentary speaker of my Country. I am just infuriated that Trump would bring up this "buying Greenland issue" so casually not considering who is friend or foe of the USA. He is reckless and his advisors like Pompeo and Bolton are amongst the worse warmongers and mischievous people inside the White House, Pentagon and the private natural resources industry. When the President of the USA brings up such an issue, then one can not help thinking that everything regarding honour, allies "either you re with us" etc. is just plain bullshit all the way. DRASTIC CLIMATE CHANGE PROOF And perhaps Trump and Republican party should start to face the fact of climate change and get back into the international conventions and goals on the dire subject – in fact, that is a secondary output of this proposition – the Arctic is melting and it opens up for a possibly huge amount of natural resources – that is the proof of drastic climate changes right there served on a silver platter, not even needing scientific facts to back it up.

  644. It has its own strong character for sure, but I would not call it pretty or elegant like an S-series, it does though have a modernistic next-gen soft human thematic. I get that they have worked hard on the aero and it may have influenced the final design a lot, but that A-pillar to hood height is massive, especially in 3/4 front view and I do not fancy that much, especially since there is no storage in the front. Difficult to judge but the sound in the Taycan (from Vids) sounds a lot more exciting vs very heavy in the EQS. The Interior is beautiful and I noticed that the Concept Car Image from the EQS has been removed for a start design surface - in any case, the usage of the passenger screens UX is apparently rather limited, but hey it can be upgraded later on. Overall I am sure that many Mercedes fans and also other customers from other brands will consider it, but before some solutions are found to lighter battery technology, the super luxury brands will continue to have immense weights which in some aspects is contradictory to the whole purpose of going electric. Remember that the BMW i3 on the release in 2016 had a weight of only 1,195 kg (2,635 lb) as well as a lot of recyclable materials – Just sad that the main BMW department was so reluctant to engage with the new electric department at the time, letting Tesla getting ahead by a lot. The best thing about the EQS is its range potential and comfort – but let's just say Germany got a very slow start into the E-mobility and might still be struggling for some years before their IT departments are fully up to speed – never the less the EQS feels like Mercedes mean it, and they'd better with all the concepts they have produced over the last 5-10 years.

  661. Ever heard of boats, submarines, planes, helicopters, drones, ladders, ropes, tunnels – A modern defense or protection system does not necessarily rely on a wall or fence. Think about what kind of sensory equipment is to be found inside the US military Arsenal. Secondary the war on drugs has never ever ended because it is a war that can not be won unless the demand for drugs ceases and/ or secondary because it is legalized and produced locally. If there is a demand the gains are so big that no wall will do nothing to stop drugs from entering any country. As for immigration, a wall might stop a few desperate actions and attempts but in the bigger scale of things, those doing professional trafficking use a variety of methods – also meaning driving straight through border security. I might very well be that there is a need for better border control but Trump calling it out as a national emergency is pure nonsense – If you got a traffic incident you do not start the aid by planning to build an Ambulance. For Trump, the Wall is Symbolism and has been from the very start – Everyone can dream about a big clean beautiful wall without realizing that reality is way ahead of a wall. It has nothing to do with Liberalism right vs left etc. – it has to do with the question if a wall will do what it is supposed to keep someone from getting in or someone from getting out. Secondary if people keep hiring cheap labor as with the drugs there will be a demand – someone poor hears there are jobs in the e.g USA, that in itself proposes a better life option that what this person might be facing right now – which are often no chance or options at all.

  672. Electoral College and Gerrymandering Is in the time of now, not a viable democratic construct. A vote should be a vote and count as such. – The first time I heard about the Popular Vote in the USA.. Whaat!?! What does that even mean – You Vote for the candidate or party that you think should be the next to lead the country and that is about it. It is also far off to think that only two parties can represent the opinions of +325 Million citizen – A parliamentary structure would force politicians to actually do politics to get anything done – in such a construct they need to negotiate, win some lose some. Not everybody can be on the winning side all the time since that would essentially become a Fascistic setup and dismantle any ideologies presented. If the fragments of each of the two parties in the USA would be split up into what they actually believe then there would be several Parties in the USA. Republicans, Nationals, Conservatives, Christian Conservatives, Libertarians, Progressives, Green Party, Democrats and most likely a few more. it would mean no certainty to control either the Hosue or the Senate, and therefore spur real political debate on real political issues. As it is now nothing is being done. With Trump leading nothing can be done because he is Crazy, unpredictable and can not keep his mouth shut even to hide a scam – he will blatantly brag about anything for attention. And so the whole thing just evolves around his possible misdeeds and nearly nothing else. Even when the GOP had both the House and the Senate they only managed to get the tax deductions for the most wealthy – Their attempt to get a new health care plan was an immense failure, which just shows that they are not aligned in politics and so they should not be represented that way. Hillary vs Bernie was another example of two political directions that does not entirely line up and so they should not be represented that way. In the Land fo the Free, they should be freedom to choose who you think is the one to lead and elections not essentially coming down to only two choices. Republican Voters currently migrating to Democrats is good because of Trump, but parliamentary wise is a short term action stopping the current bleed and not a cure for a continued or rather renewed political diversity in the USA. Trump stirs so much havoc that he can openly say stuff like "We secured the oil and are considering what to do with it" without any large media taking notes and questioning it – that is how screwed up the situation is. Getting back to Normal seems like a very far away option, which properly nobody really knows what means anymore. Trevor Noah is always on point, sharp, witty and humane – he is able to see stuff from various sides and lining up the absurdity of so many things.

  679. Essentially they do not know what to do about it, even that their own scientific institutes say that our state is alarmingly critical. They do not know what to do about because they have not yet learned to flip their games in "positive actions" rather than always having a secondary agenda based on quite short-term profit gains. The USA and its allies are still waging wars in the middle east – it has nothing or very little to do with Terrorist, but mainly about controlling (the access to) the oil resources in the region. Recently it has become clear that Genie Oil and Gas have been allowed to extract Oil and Gas from the Golan Heights (by Israel) – These hold more Oil and Gas resources than what Saudi Arabia has – So the Syrian nightmare was not even about those competing gas pipeline to Europe but about the Golan Heights reserves. Checking their strategic advisory board members it is clear to everybody that nothing in this regard has changed; Dick Cheney, Robert Murdock, Jacob Rothschild, OM, GBE and several others of the same caliber. To get back to the topic and considering the lobby chains behind the current Government in the US administration, it is impossible for these people "in the middle of it" to change anything and the reason they have to tell bullshit and lie more or less all the time. We can not expect them to do anything really, the interest behind them are far to powerful. Without enough oil flowing into the USA (Even USA producing itself as well) the mighty US military will not be able to operate continuously in case of a larger conflict – essentially rendering it far weaker than it numbers and technology suggest. – This would be like losing your main asset, the thing that makes you lose have the upper hand in the Geostrategic game for natural resources. I am happy to see more and more young people getting aware that their own future might be compromised far more than what is being portrayed most of the time. The planet can not sustain our way of living – the number of resources we use and adding to one of the important issues – all the meat we eat (cow meat that is). Cow meat has a higher influence on the planets C02 than all the cars together  – but two wrongs do not make one right. The only difference being that car emissions are adding other toxins along with it. Excluding to talk about the GMO based industrial productions because that topic adds a whole lot of other long-term problems. The in fact only way to change our current direction is to start consuming differently – Large corps are there to earn money – If consumers buy different products be assured they will find new methods to supply the demand. It is not a beautiful prospect and they will fight is as long as they can, be eventually they will need to change course as well to keep selling their products and services. The power of the people lies in their wallets and what they spend their money on. The poorer the people are the fewer options they have to change what they buy – So the insane and ever growing inequality between rich and poor currently is providing yet another more efficient change of global longer-term sustainability goals.

  694. A lot of comments about making a drag race – case is that the P100D will properly roast the Taycan at least in the first races. But make 10 or 20 drag races after each other and the Taycan might very well come out on top. At least that should be a consideration about that particular drag race. The Tesla S is still remarkable considering it's up to 7 seat capacity, quite long-range and fierce acceleration – also considering that Tesla did not have any automotive heritage to build on. The Taycan is thought differently and with the German Autobahn in mind – To Sell this car in Germany means that it must be able to cruise at fairly high speed for longer periods of time. Secondary the Porsche Taycan does not need to fulfil all the practicality for a large family and has different kinds of POS´s, handling, luxury, stability, quality, exclusivity and being able to accelerate fast over and over again – If it could not do that then many Porsche buyers would not even consider going EV or else they are properly already owning a top-spec Tesla. It is two very different takes on the EV, but I think that the Taycan will not be the largest competitor to the Tesla Model S – it will most likely come from another brand which e.g could be the upcoming Volvo EV and who knows – all the manufacturers have EVs brewing and this is only the very beginning of the EV era. That said, the Taycan will not be the only Porsche EV – they might even expand their range into new segments over time. Still, the challenge for the EV´s remains – battery capacity/range and charging options. The moment an EV can drive a 1000 Km on charge and arrive nearly anywhere with the option to recharge within a short time the landscape of EVs will look very different. Over just 4-5 years time the battery capacity in Formula E has nearly doubled – in 5 - 8 years times the options might look very different.

  728. Kazakstan and the neighboring countries and regions will not get nearly as much attention in the west if Russia moves on them, the reason being distance and the fact the Ukraine is a natural resources jewel within European near accessibility. The cultural gap is also much larger the further east and south, even Syrian refugees was far from embraced like Ukrainian refugees are. The USA would though be watching movements even in these “distant” regions, because USA really benefits from war activities due to the huge military production sector at home. Wars are also testing grounds for new military equipment and tactics as well as also being used to dispose of dated munition stockpiles. The overall long term geo strategic competition is always on as well, but resources count more in most cases. There is a long way before Ukraine is no longer a contested region, and if it hopefully becomes a free nation, the road to rebuilding it is also a mouthful. Russia will be sanctioned for a long time as well, unless Putin is replaced or totally changes his plans (unlikely) - even now Russia has withdrawn troop from the Far East of Russia, so capabilities and thereby actual power to the ground might be severely reduced in the years to follow. The democratic west, despite many flaws are a much much better system proposals than any direct autocracy and so countries don’t come willingly to such forced system as eg Russia. People like freedom but they also like security and that is the challenge to balance right for any system to prosper “naturally”.

  741. "We" The Human Race is not ready at all – We can´t fix shit and even when we can fix something usually some idiots will try to avoid the fixes at all cost – we are continuously adding to the shit we leave behind in our delusional self-importance of being the smartest beings on the planet earth. We are existentially self-destructive and emotionally overcharged – having the technology, planning ability and all sorts of learnings to our disposal and still, we take photos of our lives while the boat is nearing the waterfall. We never have enough, not only materially but for stimulation and entertainment as well. The worst sickness yet is Greed, and next to that Power followed by unhinged ambitions often we no real purpose other than spending some untarnished energy or trying to become something or somebody before we die. The world we have created is not normal – its Fucking far out and completely out of synch with the planet we live on. The Western World live in a synthesized bubble lacking any real connection to the planet and large part of the rest of the world is either caught in problems leaving little to hope for the better or they also just want the same thing that people in the west have. Either way, it's pretty fucked. And a leader like Trump is just showing how stupid our idea of a great society is – Many leaders and governments before him did a lot of horrendous stuff – Even what happened behind the scenes of the well-spoken Obama administration was to criticize but surely that does not make Trump any better at all – we have just taken one more step towards the abyss of mass stupidity showing that the average normal human does not have the capacity to reason and reflect on anything even mildly complex and will turn to emotional spurred garbage whenever it is possible to avoid challenging the so-called smart brains that we are supposed to have. The planet will survive – but we will not – Give a take 3000-5000 Years maximum and most likely the human race will be extinct, both on planet earth and elsewhere we will venture. And what is 5000 years in the 4.5 Billion years history of the planet but a sand grain on the beach – it´s nothing absolutely nothing. And here we are debating absolutely useless shit and pointing fingers at each other, blaming anybody but ourself for the lack of who knows what and why – I am sure most people would not be able to explain their reasons for certain opinions on all sorts of subjects without ending in absolute Ludacris explanations or ending at the super simple existential common grounds like "For My Family and Freinds, for my loved once, and the even worse for Honor or self-respect BS stuff. That is what it comes down to for most humans on the planet – we are not capable to take this much further without hurting our brains. The Human race is far from ready – it is not even ready to survive itself – No matter how you look at it – the things we do are mostly absolutely senseless and disconnected – The deeper understanding of Earth life has vanished from most parts of the terraformed world – "We" don´t know what we are doing and we don´t know why we are doing what we do – If we did we would not continue doing it. (no disrespect) but Even a visionary person like Elon Musk doesn't know what he is doing – he just knows that he has to do something. We glue to reactions and counteractions as if it was the answer to everything we do, because that is about the best or making the most sense that we can up with to justify our existence – but in the big picture that is about as insignificant as it gets. We are not ready and even if we considered ourself ready we properly would not even know what we were getting ready for. Do you consider the human race "Ready" and if – what do you consider us ready for?

  747. If a metaverse is to exist on these laid out premises, it then means that all the big tech giant’s would need to adhere evenly to these fundamentals which at the current state does not seem plausible due to how such endeavors are driven - content and money. This may be good enough but essentially does not change anything. First there will be “metaverses” rather than a metaverse - why would this change the way we think and act? - the internet has Not made us smarter socially, so far - one could argue that it’s literally frying our brains, enhances stupidity and feeds apathy. For this to really work they need a real driving factor that is not founded in the usual business mythology of the last +70 years. Another thing is the computing power needed - who will run that and how much energy will be needed - blockchain tech is extremely power hungry and then 3,5 dimensions to it and we might as well use all energy sources on the planet both fossil, nuclear and green to keep it up. This video talks about the premises for an idea but delivers absolutely no real insights, no actual vision other than the wishes and need for the platform. One could just call it a VR+AR information and entertainment interface. Honestly I’m of the impression that eg Elon Musk is onto something much more likely, being the implant and merger with AI wich indeed will transform us without knowing to end. If this is to be a real game changer then it will not come from the current media tech conglomerates as they are literally in a war on all fronts, they have never even been able to agree on cable connections for as long as we have had computers around. And then there is the safety aspect of it - how just how can they ever provide a user safe space for such a complex interlinked multi experience - as presented it will just become a virtual world with “payments” to enter spaces. Will it come, yes possibly - will it be safe, most likely not and if then only with the assistance of AI which frankly is not really the best place to start at the current moment in time. Our main problem amongst many are differences in cultures, the ever need for capital gains, the fact that information is power and that we generally still are tribal in our nature which leads to all sorts of heavy problems. Bring me a fix for that and by someone who does not lead an already established tech giant and the metaverse could become a different source for human coexistence if everyone buys in on it - if it’s just a part of humans then it’s not Metaverse is it now?.

  770. Could it be that Puting in his long rulership has gotten to the point where staff and people around him have told him more or less what he want to hear or what they think he wants to hear and thereby having been quite misinformed about both the Ukranian peoples acceptance of a possible Russian governance, the status of his military in general, etc. It seems quite weird that an otherwise pretty contained pragmatic leader, usually well aware of the global games behind the scenes etc. as Putin have been over the last decades would make such a huge mistake of wagin this war at a darn wrong time – even a sore simple thing as the terrain in this time of year is bad for ground vehicles in the region. Also I do not get it for anything else than the geo strategical concerns of Russia vs West in this whole region connecting Russia and Europe, thus the large natural gas and oil depots in Ukraine – which yes could turn a free ukraine into a direct competitor to Russias exports. If I am not mistaken Russia have created quite a lot of finansial growth over the last decade, lots of foreign investors into the Russian economy and a slight hope that wealth and health would improve in Russia leading to far less tensions between Russia and the West. Why Putin has chosen such a path as he has right now is beyond me, I simply dont get it because Urkaine can not be held if the majority of the population is against its ruler – Russia will simply not have enough manpower to control such a large region and so many people, thus at such a moment large parts of the infrastructure will be destroyed – so what is the gain?. Over a slightly longer-term (but now accelerated) Europe will become independent of natural gas and oil from Russia becasue of this war, so what would be left of natural gas and oil in Ukraine after a war might not have any significant value at that time. Geo staretegicly I understand that Russia needs Krym and the two east regions, and that Putin wants to avoid having Nato breathing into his neck via Ukraine, but that should be about it in my eyes (and I apologize to the people that live in these areas for this view) but in the means of a larger stable Europe this is the only way I can see Russia getting out of this with Putin not escalating this war into total war, which would motst likely end Europe forever. (This dystopic thesis was prediceted by both Nostradamus and "the Blind Woman" amongts others of spiritual forseeing) – I just hope that they were all wrong and that this war can come to a quick and peacefull end as soon as possible.

  809. Perhaps Trump should get his shit under control and not publicly announce such Ludacris, especially to a long term ally. The "art of the deal" vaporises instantly with such public announcements but maybe he never read his own book?. Secondary the interest of the USA, or in fact only the interest of the future prospect of natural resources is also a direct proof of the current large scale climate change – it does not even need a scientific data sheet when the resource forces inside and around Washington shows their interest so blondly. Let that sink in for a moment. How would the USA act if e.g France suddenly and in public proposed the idea to buy Alaska or Hawai? No less word than "Absurd" would certainly be part of the answer and especially from Trump. For the reference, Greenland is about 1/3 the size of the USA or about +20% larger than Alaska. And thanks to CNN for picking up the trail on this – from other threads, it was obvious that many Americans did not know that Denmark has been a long term and active ally of the USA and in particular post 9/11. Denmark despite its immensely small size is placed on a strategically important spot with gateways through 3 bridges that all will have to be passed should Russia choose to launch part their fleet in the baltic sea into the Atlantic. Denmark is also part of the F35 program and delivers the special ceramic plates for the planes. Trump's ignorance, impulsive selfishness is obvious – his preparations are equally missing and his strategy is non-existent. His governmental shut down with the Wall as the playing card was yet another example of him playing an impossible hand to his opponent – the Dems had no other choice than to say No. This exactly the same absurdness he did here with the Greenland proposal. – it is not only these examples – Trump is generally an absurd persona for President of the USA and the more stuff he tries out the more obvious it becomes. 841. The USA has more means than anybody to contra any military action taken – And Venezuela is not the USA´s backyard. This scenario just shows how the most powerful nations constantly are used to deeply influence and control other countries. I would not be even mildly surprised if this is in fact to some degree staged – Trump could certainly use a more "Serious" subject to divert attention from all his self created idiotic problems - So they play a little to build up some fear agendas on the home front, good for the media coverage machine. The USA is always in need of some conflict scenario to justify the continuation of humongous military machine and all the jobs that come along with it – it is also used to maintain and gain control of the oil resources of which the value of the Dollar depends. In fact, the USA has no escape from this triangulated combination and most of the Power elites behind does not want it either. And Puting can always use some propaganda at home, showing that Russia is still a strong player and that he is still a strong and bold leader. There has been no news under the sun for a very very long time – the same geopolitical bullshit over and over again. At least the sooner the world get far less dependant on oil the bigger the chances will be for a more stable world economy and a slightly different power agenda. But with the Golan Heights holding more Oil and Gas resources than what Saudi Arabi has the prospect of even just slight changes are very long. SO SAD!

  859. Well, it not only Trump, but decades of Western interfering in the region mainly because of oil control, military sales and the friendship with the Saudis and their bad relations with Iran and other regional neighbours. The problem is that Trump is a loose cannon making decisions that are extremely short term and mainly derives around his very own issues, like re-election, Turkey with his Hotel Towers and so forth – he does not understand diplomacy, he does not understand the unspoken games of the regional wars and proxy wars, which are indeed complicated – but surely it does not help not to read the security reports offered by his immensely powerful security agencies, so shit happens. And shit has happened also before Trump but he is simply not the dude to fix it, he is the dude that will make it far worse than it already is and has been because of his ignorance and selfish stupidity – Trump is simply too dumb to be a leader of Nation. And I do not support Sharia Law based countries and regimes and I do not support the major power games played out in this world because it cost many lives, bloodshed and has terrible consequences for mainly the "normal" people everywhere and the intend is 98% of times a matter that has no real visions for the better of the world overall. But if we have to face ourselves in the West it is fair to ask what the hell someone like the US is doing so far away from their own borders – it is constantly claimed that the reason is to make the USA safe, but Norway might as well attack New Zealand and claim the same thing – How does killing a favoured military leader in the region make the USA safer? The Trump leadership is a catastrophe on so many levels and whatever he claims everybody should know by now that he is either lying or telling the truth without mentioning that he talks about himself or his own misdoings. Some say he lost two wars by his assassination decision, but essentially he also completely lost the "hidden war" with Russia – Putin has outplayed Trump to the extreme of absurdity. Trump was never fit for the Office and never will be, he is a scam based super narcissistic real estate Tyran and still think he runs his own business as President. Don´t make stupid people famous and for heaven's sake do not elect stupid people to run countries.

  894. I doubt it – Not that I have ever seen any Aliens – but if what has been released on the subject is true, then the captured/recovered Alien crafts use a central anti-gravity "engine" that directs its anti-gravity into 3 Direction steering devices that essentially makes the ship/vessel drop into its own created gravity – the complete opposite idea of Trust (Pushing/Forcing) that we do with our Aeronautical planes. What the actual manoeuvre stats and speed numbers are on these supposed UFO vehicles I do not think that anybody knows – and if some do I would not think that it ever has been revealed in public. (Most statement on the subject nearly always suggest that supposed UFO´s disappear in an instant). If anybody has succeded in reverse engineering these supposed crafts it is for sure TOP secret. Perhaps they found out that humans can not really use this method or they can not find a way to control it. On the Scientific scale of intelligent development, the Human race is still regarded a Civ 0 because we burn stuff to create energy. Despite our many very advanced technologies burning stuff to create energy is what we have done since we were living in caves and burning wood to keep warm. Till we find an energy method that is not dangerous and can be controlled within small space while still delivering immense power or providing a method that does not need power to make objects move really fast I doubt that we can create any aero fighting vehicles wit capabilities that stand a chance against the supposed "instant" that has been reported on UFO´s. From what I have seen on popular released subject on the matter, nobody ever talked about any weapons on UFO´s/Alien crafts – which might suggest a superior manoeuvrability not needing weapons at all. Though some other reports have suggested some kind of fighting happing right outside the sphere of the planet with actions looking like weapons that strike each other. I have absolutely no clue about the truth or falsehood of these reports, they can be all bogus made up for whatever reasons. Chances are that if there are some aliens around using vessels that we yet have not been able to successfully engage with (meaning being able to follow/pursue/Observe for longer time) then the chances are close to zero of us being able to create anything that can match it with our current technologies. On proposition and just thinking out loud on the subject we will properly need technology that is related to control "travel" in parallel universes, Bending Time and/or the ability to fully control gravity, thus it needs to be controllable in such a way that the human body and mind can endure or that Human created AI can survive it. We have come a long way, but since we still have ancient artefacts like megaliths lying around and still debating how they were made and by whom – we properly have a long way to go yet. And if we do not take care of the planet we are currently inhabiting we might never get further than to Mars – essentially a close to a bare desert planet. So I doubt that any fuel-based aeroplane we can create atm and even in the near future can fight any Aliens – that is if there are any Alines around at all. If I was an Alein and having seen how we currently covert out many options, then for sure I would left already.

  902. At the Election, the voters supporting Trump was essentially split up in 5 different segments. Those that seek to avoid Trump being re-elected should pick up the trail on how to get swing voters to change their possible vote. The Cambridge Analytica did their stuff that way (highly unethical) but one should not avoid learning from their overall strategy on the subject. Essentially the time has already arrived when all the debates need to take a turn and not simply generalize all that voted for Trump as the same – It is about starting a constructive debate with those earlier Trump voters that now might very well be standing in the middle ground and then forget about the rest that will continue to vote for Trump no matter what happens. The 5 segments of Trump voters did not vote for Trump the same reasons – in fact far from it. It should be a key factor for the coming election since it is also not certain how many more voters will join the next election and so swing voters should remain an essential target. Considering the Gerrymandering in motion it is highly likely that the Republican Party is betting on a very reduced number of overall voters. Just a reminder not to completely scrutinize all Trump voters, since it will just have the opposite effect. And even that the Trump part played very dirty, the Democrats also made their very own havoc adding to the failure. Many polls over the time up to the election showed that Bernie Sanders would have crushed Trump if he had been to one to run for the office – essentially unheard off considering Sanders repeatedly used the forbidden word in the USA "Socialism". Trump is not a conservative, he is way unstable to be considered as such and he is not a strategist either since his immense ego is blocking him from making real strategic moves that have any beneficial effects. He is not only destroying the USA´s reputation, but he also unstabilizes all allied connections in both military and in trade as well a bringing the Republican party to a corner where they can only play the dirtiest of tricks and that is not at all constructive even for the Republicans. Adding to it that he essentially is playing into the hand of Puting, which together with China can only benefit from a weakened USA and Europe (Brexit). When Bush Jr. entered office there were white house staff saying "the Crazies are Back" – I wonder what they say now.

  922. The most devastating martial art or fighting system is thought to persons becoming Agents. Because they learn the most effective parts from all the Martial arts and Martial sports combined and it is thought without mercy and without the intend to win, but to eliminate or to control the situation to the advantage of the goal. E.g In Russia it is not un common that applicants die at this training/education. An agent operating in conflict or war zones must be all time prepared and take advantage of everything in any dire situation - this is not about adhering to a system or to win a fight with rules - it is about adaption and extreme consequence. - The only thing that perhaps slightly simulates this is Matt Damon in the movie Bourne Identity - the scene where he is fighting another agent inside the apartment - and yea well it is a fictional movie - but for those in the movie business know that thorough research and bringing in specialists creates better movies. That said, for any common person who is not to become a pro fighter or having dreams of becoming the local street fighter hero any well founded Martial Art or Sport thought well and trained continuously for long period of time will help the person to evade a dire situation better that those who have not trained anything. On the other hand you might as well be of such bleached personality or character that even a bully would not consider you a target worth attacking - I have witnessed friends, with no fighting capabilities what so ever, walk out of potentially escalating situations without a scratch - More than half of such situations are resolved by psychology, if you got the nerve or the capacity to avoid the natural fear.
