  1. They are fooling themselves, and no one else. Talking about it will not change anything. Many see themselves as European. It's not serious enough to fight over. I lived in Puerto Rico and the are a lot of non- white people who see themselves as white. They can't even get an accurate count of the Afro- Puerto Ricans because 80% of them identify as white on the census. Also African Americans need to stop telling who they are.
