I dont know where you got your information from, but the Sephardic Jews who were from Spain and Portugal were heavily involved in the tran atlantic slave trade " Christopher Columbus " himself was half Jewish. No doubt he was looking for a new home for the Jews who were expelled from the Iberian peninsula. If you look up Sephardic name like Lopez, Lopes, Rodriguez, Rodrigues, Gomez, Gomes ect. , you find that they're a Sephardic names. As a Jewish person, I know that it's hard to believe, but these are facts. There was a big Jewish community in Charleston, South Carolina. In fact, that is the second oldest synagogue in the US. It is what it is. I don't hate them. But I know what they did. It's not up to us to forgive them. It's up to the most high. Shalom!

  3. Still trying to figure out why African American want to be Hebrew so badly. There is absolutely no evidence which I have found. We are mostly Bantu peoples of Central and West Africa. We have a lot to be proud of. We do not have to steal someone else's identity, we have our cultures to be proud of. We do not know or acknowledge who we really are. Where is OUR connection to the land of Semitic people? There no evidence of that. The Horn of Africa being close to Asia, I can understand how the Habesha People can trace their back to Asia or Isreal, but we, decendents of West Africa? Why are so confused?

I also have to say those Europeans who are claiming to be Semitic are not being honest with themselves. That's why I crendge when I hear people say that the Arabs are being anti Semitic when they are Semitic. How can so called educated people make this mistake over and over again?

  8. I agree. Why would that term be used? I guess because it's more associated with Eastern Europeans. I don't recall ever hearing the anyone say Christians of color.
