  4. How can we expect others to love us when we don't love ourselves? It saddens me when I hear such stories. I'm glad that I've always embraced my blackness. I envy no one. I don't feel that anyone is better than I am. I don't envy white people for any reason. We can't continue to blame the colonial masters for our self hate.
