  1. I have a lot of respect for Sowell, but he's never gone to jail fighting for civil rights. Sowell says what white people want to hear. He stated that Germans fought against slavery, which anyone who can read, knows isn't true. They were right about Ronald Reagan. He was a bigot. Republicans don't want to acknowledge it. Many black Republicans just go with the program without thinking for themselves. Jessie Jackson and AL Sharpton have done some great work. I do not take their sacrifice for granted. Did Thomas Sowell do anything for civil rights? All he's ever done is talk criticize black people.
