  7. The damage has been done, unfortunately. The American government has favored people of European decent. That's one the reasons why the slave owners were compensated, not the enslaved. Reparations will never happen and anyone who has a bit of education knows it. I feel sorry for anyone who has put any energy into the notion that it will. We can't even get simple humanity. I still feel fortunate to have been born in this country. I would not have wanted it any other way. It's not perfect, but no country is.

  11. The Europeans have been migrating for hundreds of years. They have replaced natives in North America, New Zealand, and Australia, to name a few. I can tell the race and mentality of the people in the comments. No double standards when it comes to humanity.

  16. Portugal is a poor country with low wages. The foreigners with money are out pricing the locals. It's paradise to those Americans who don't really realize what they are doing. These Americans do nothing to integrate. They don't learn the language, nor do they care anything about the Portuguese culture. They make videos about how cheap Portugal is compared to the US. When your salary is about $800.00 per month, things are not so cheap for the locals.

  40. I see so many cold comments. I'm assuming that these are Europeans. I'm sadden by such hatred and coldness. The holocaust was able to take place because of this same attitude. People are still traumatized. The pain doesn't go away. Do Europeans possess an once of humanity? Germans had no right to be there in the first place.   49. I see so many similarities between the Germans and the Americans. They must always be on top and the best. All empires have fallen. Europe has looted from the rest of the world for centuries. I believe that the European Union is a failure. Only rich countries are benefiting from the union because they get the cheap labor from poorer countries. They can't survive forever on slave labor. If you want to be the best, you literally have to continue to get better. When you think you're the best, you do very little to improve. Germany will not always be on top.
