@supercat380 Yeah the Greek people and their ''genes'' are to be blamed again. Ignore the fact that it was the EU that crucified Greece economically and led us to the memorandums. Ignore the fact that the memorandums of the IMF forced Greece to sell all our national wealth and services and that in these services the railroads were to be included. Ignore the fact that the train was sold and was ran by an Italian company that was BSing people about how ''advanced'' technologically it was. Ignore all that, it's much easier to blame the common people or a driver about everything and using them as spacegoats rather than blaming the EU, great companies or their government puppets!!!

@supercat380 I can't argue with that. Unfortunately I agree about who we tolerate and vote for. The reality however is that as the vote in SYRIZA as well as the referendum in 2015 proved, the problem goes much deeper than votes. Votes change little and I have great doubts if they are the actual solution to anything in the regimes that govern us.

Our railway was safe, until the EU and the IMF along with our puppet government sold it to an Italian company that was BSing the world how ''technologically advanced'' it was. And all this along with so many Greek lives were lost in poverty or such like accidents, for saving the banks!! Those are their ''european values''.

@vertwheeler7 700 million IN LOANS and the railways were privatised to an Italian company that the EU AND THE IMF ORDERED the government to with the memorandums. And despite that it was sponsored 70 millions so keep the s*** about the EU money. You may be Greek but I am 10000% sure you voted for Mitsotakis, PASOK or SYRIZA during the last elections!!

Uhm the building the cops are sitting in front of is the parliament, the parliament is the place of those in charge who are the ones(along with the EU and the IMF of course) responsible for this crime and the cops are hitting and teargassing demonstrators in the first place to protect this building and those inside of it, despite the fact that it is from the people who are demonstrating and their taxes that they are being paid from and not by those in charge. Also we have tried peaceful demonstrations endless times, they just don't work and noone listens to us. So don't you think it's time when you are ignored to ENFORCE being listened to??

Pension funds are now being used by our governments to as internal loans to pay public debt. That's why the european media now praise the ''Greek government's success in lowering debt''. Destroying the future of the people to pay the usurers is pretty much what europeans wanted Greece to do from the very beggining.
