If taking a country from slavery and illiterature and starvation and giving food, education, healthcare and keeping up for 42 years despite so many Western superpower interventions is being ''weird and goofy'', then every rational person would choose ''goofy'' persons since in the way you define it, it's nothing more than intelligence. Also NATO is controlled by the USA, and most F-15s that bombed Libya were American, like your special forces that fought on the ground of Libya dressed as Arabs. Had it not been for America, the NATO invasion would never happen. So yes America is to blame once again, along with Britain and France of course(and Germany that bennefited economically from that).

It was a minority of Islamist traitors in Libya who were funded by the USA, Britain and France and who were incapable of destroying Libya or their leader alone so the Westerns invaded.   4. Except that the Libyan war happened in 2011 and no Libyan said ''we don't want Gaddafi'' except for Al gaeda terrorists funded by the USA. Only the media promoted that story.
