  9.  @busbauerr1erwingl17  Congo was a great atrocity but there was no intention on the part of Leopold to actually exterminate the Congolese. So it can't be compared to the Turkish genocides against Greeks Armenians and Assyrians. Most Congolese died of starvation or diseases and their deaths was a result of economic exploitation, they didn't die inside concentration camps.

  15. The Turks in the Balkans were minority, were never genocided, were not Turks but Muslims and were exchanged during population exchange. And no sorry, no dice for you, noone constructs any identity by accusing someone else of genocide. Very few nations are so criminal as to be accused of genocide and Turkey happens to be one of them.

  16. Greeks Assyrians and Armenians. The Armenians are descendants of Hittites and Phrygians and the Assyrians are close to Babylonians and Sumerians. We along with the Egyptians gave everything to the world and we were exterminated by those who gave nothing but death and destruction.

  17. Though the Ottomans weren't saints either(they also had slavery and did a lot of massacres), I agree with you. I am Greek yet I am annoyed every time I see people blaming the genocides of Turkey to the Islamic religion as a whole, even though I am not muslim. It's Turkey and its nationalism that is the problem, not Islam.
