  2. I think you're using "our ability" in such a way as to project upon others what I can only assume is a willful ignorance. Collectively, science knows much more than you like it to, I'm afraid, and that scares you. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong.

  5. I surely will, and in the process I'll be sure to share the good news, which is that we don't get to default to our preferred explanations of how things work simply because it remains a mystery. Finally, the process of science is our best and most successful way of understanding our universe. How do we know? It has utility. It works.
