I'm sure you're just like them, too. Superstitious and ignorant.

Yes, sad. And nobody has anything to show for the existence of their god-who-hates-all-the-same-people-they-hate. Hatred justified with superstition.

@stevenbass732 "You may think that this is new. It's not." Why would it being "news" or not be relevant? You seem to have pulled that out of thin air just o you can whine about...what, exactly? "When I was growing up, we knew who the homosexuals were..." I'm sure you thought you did. Also, newsflash, you never actually grew up. " and by and large ignored it." Doubt that. Everything in your desperate diatribe attest to the probability that you paid lots of attention. ".... mostly no one cared so long as they kept it quiet." And of course by that you mean as long as they stayed invisible. Poor baby can't tolerate that he can no longer hold himself as superior. "Heterosexual couples didn't flaunt their relationship in public and neither did homosexuals." I'm sure if asked to elucidate, your double standard would blind us. What a pitiful person you are.

@Illunworth Oh, I'm sure you are. For failing to answer the call of humanity, I suppose we could blame your parents. I mean, right? Or were you abandoned?
3
@Illunworth Should I? Well bless your little heart!

@Illunworth Demons don't exist. If you understand them, you are myth-addled.

She was great! I would have added—about the flag—that it represents the struggle over the decades and the strides we've made that we're proud of - marriage, overcoming housing and employment discrimination, visibility. To the idiots that see the pride flag and immediately go to "genitals," I'd ask "What's on your mind, Spanky?"

Only the poison of religion will insist that "eternal death and suffering" are real. “Religion provides the solace for the turmoil that it creates.” ― Byron Danelius

His family likely used the same reasoning to kick him out. The problem with "god" is that nobody can show that he's real, and so everybody can decide what god really wants. God is an unfalsifiable claim and needs to be removed from the picture on either side of the argument. Humanity is our highest calling. Let's not get blinded by mythology.

@melman7738 I observe religion as a toxic meme. The day I "see God's presence in my life" has come and, thankfully, gone. I much prefer life's painful truths to comforting lies. There is not now, nor has there ever been, anything to show for any god, regardless of anybody's proclaimed "reason" for believing. Speaking of reason, I hope you can one day see it in your life. 👓

@melman7738 "religion has become corrupted".... Religion has always been corrupt, at least the monotheistic religions. Can you think of a time when these religions haven't killed in their name? "but God hasn't." "God" is only an idea. You are begging the question, a logical fallacy. You assume what you must first prove - that any god exists. This has never been shown to be true, despite millennia of desperate assertions, intense eye-squinting, and sleight-of-mind trickery. "Like you said, just because people can't physically see God they use him as a way to do evil but he isn't." I'll just repeat: You can make no claims about any entity whose existence you are incapable of showing. "Anyways my belief is my belief" Indeed. "and I'm okay with it as long as I don't hurt anyone." If you have children and you teach them to believe something exists with zero evidence, you are hurting them by stunting them intellectually.

@JaneCooper190072 You enjoy calling "perverted" what you refuse to understand. It means you don't have to inform your ignorance, and you can act smug. Only pity for you.
1
@ezras8889 Sure it is. And love is natural, and being attracted to someone is also natural. Did you have a point? I thought not.
1
@JaneCooper190072 Sure, man & woman is natural. As are man & man and woman & woman. Did you have a point? I thought not.

@JaneCooper190072 " I'm in a relationship with a MAN, how God Intended. This is blasphemous in the eye's of God" You have zero to show for the existence of any god-who-hates-all-the-same-people-you-hate. Despite millennia of desperate assertions, there has never been anything to show for any of the gods claimed to exist. That work is still cut out for you. Do not pretend it isn't, hiding behind a false pretense. Justifying your very personal hatred with superstition is not only lazy, but cowardly.

It's really awesome. Have you watched it yet?

@Count Orlok Look how religion has shriveled your brain into a toxic waste dump.
