Nobody can appoint themselves as mouthpieces for a deity whose very existence has never been shown. Despite centuries of desperate assertions, that work still remains. Thus, any claims made on "god's" behalf are truly selfish, not to mention lazy and cowardly. I could as easily say that the tornadoes that hit Texas and Florida just now were "god's punishment" for homophobia and anti-LGBTQ hatred. Time for humanity to grow up and understand that it is indeed humanity itself that is its highest calling. Don't let what amounts to superstition trample your highest calling.
