I think we need to take into account the productivity gains a diverse workforce brings, and that a female perspective can often provide a competitive advantage but at the same time, it remains true that women take maternity leave and become less effective employees whilst menstruating. There are upsides and downsides to hiring more women, and they must be considered not as activists, but as businesspeople.
