matador c137 What about if you need to find a job there? Except, maybe Germany and Australia, it would be tough to find employment there, and taxes are extremely high. There is a reason why so many people come to the US. I have met people that moved here from France, England, Italy, Israel to work and live with their families. I’m from Belarus originally, but have lived in the US for 16 years. And tourists love Belarus, beautiful women, clean streets, museums, theatres, etc. The education in math and science, literature, and foreign languages is quite good, I speak five. But it’s quite another story to live there and earn $350 a month. My dad saved for 15 years to buy a car. It’s one thing to experience a country as a tourist and another as a citizen. Although if you work remotely, I think you may be right. There is an advantage in living as a digital nomad without fiscal responsibilities to the countries you are visiting, or without having skin in the game in their politics and future. Some countries like Singapore, Japan or Poland are thriving, but I would only live there, if I was born in those countries.
