  3. Popular Culture TV People have to upgrade their skills constantly to stay relevant on the job market. Those who do, make great money. No one is going to take care of you, but yourself. The days where you work for a company and get benefits are all but gone. That doesn't mean there's no healthcare or opportunity to make money available. It's just that you have to actively provide those for yourself, and not sit and wait for your employer to give it to you. The alternative is poverty.
