  1. As a genuine question... why do people come to the US? Like, the chances of striking it rich are very low, and in Haiti's case, you'd be going to the very country that destabilized yours for decades, and by living and working there, contributing to the economy, you'd be making it even stronger. Why aid your greatest enemy?
